Kamalina Harris Called Riots 'a Movement' Last Summer, Said 'They Should Not' Stop!

Yes. She did that. And she was wrong.
But in the midst of the Debacle at the Capitol in DC, Trump spoke more of how he was wronged instead of immediately and harshly condemning the violence. He acted no better than her. I’m a Trump supporter, and I can freely say that he was wrong for what he did and did not do.

Quit pointing fingers and start looking in the mirror folks. It’ll do ALL of us some good. Both sides need a lot of fixing.

I use to lean left lean right now I’m embarrassed with both.

Every time that there’s a movement, it’s always a fringe. The tea party (ultra right), the “moral majority”, the trump movement, the democratic socialists, etc... we need a movement in the center (kind of like when Bill Clinton came along) except I’d like slightly right of Bill.  A house and senate that weren’t polar opposite from term to term depending on who’s carrying the smallest of majorities.
We need to stop letting the extreme outliers from each side determine the parties’ directions.  Government should be there to negotiate and mitigate our different points of view... not cram ideologies down each others’ throats. There is no negotiation or consolidation. Just extreme partisanship and obstructionism. Just as surely as Trumps rhetoric led to Wednesday’s events, a radical, partisan socialist agenda forced upon America only because the Ds hold a tiebreaker in the Senate will also lead to greater problems in our country.

First, tell me what is so ”fringe” about the Tea Party?  Follow the Constitution, lower taxes, smaller government…how extreme. (Don’t dodge this one, answer the question)

This is the hidden content, please

As far as Bill Clinton, let me clear up your history.  He was not center, he was dragged to the center by a newly majority Republican Congress led by Newt Gingrich.  Remember, this was the administration that tried to pass gov healthcare led by Hillary and gutted the military…very center, lol.  I guess I could use your tactic and say Bill was your Messiah and you’ve been brainwashed and are lost, but I won’t.  So don’t give me the crap about how I love Trump so much it clouds my judgement…there are lots of things he does that I don’t like as far as his personal actions, but I don’t let my emotions override all the good things he has done…that’s what snowflakes do, they can’t get past him being crude and rude.

I’m not too worried about his legacy, he put three SCJs on the bench that will carry his legacy.  Maybe one day we’ll go back to when an unborn child is not simply a “choice”.

News flash, the Democrats will never be satisfied, no matter how much you give them, they will always want more.  How many abortions should we try to negotiate, how may “assault” rifles should we give up, what percentage of our healthcare should the gov pay for, what’s an acceptable number of either sex bathrooms to allow, how do we compromise on what is a peaceful protest and what is a riot?

So many things to “compromise” on.

And as far as Trump causing the chaos at the Capitol, nonsense.  Those that stormed the Capitol are responsible for their own actions…period.  That makes no more sense than to blame Bernie for the ballpark shooting, Sarah Palin for the Gabby Giffords shooting, or Rush Limbaugh for the Oklahoma City Bombing.

You’re delusional. The Tea Party refused to entertain any legislation that included any additional taxes. Then they refused to budge even when the government was forced to shut down. Does that sound like negotiation or compromise? That same attitude is why Rand Paul (tea party holdover) sunk the repeal of Obamacare in 2012. “We were sent here to do one thing! There will be no compromise!” As a result, they accomplished absolutely nothing in regards to spending or our debt.  That’s being right wing to the point of stupidity.
There’s a huge difference between being a “snowflake” and realizing that actions have consequences.... if you make an enemy out of everybody except your blind followers, you won’t be in power long. See how it worked out for your boy Trump, lol.
I appreciate those three conservative SCJs, and I’m proud that they showed wisdom and restraint that has not been shown by most of Trump’s supporters. In fact Trump was lashing out at them... just like he lashed out at all of his other supporters that refused to buy into his lies as you have. The bottom line is this... all of those things that you worry about happening would not be in jeopardy if your Lord and Savior Donald J Trump hadn’t been such a jerk. He’d be getting ready to be sworn in a second time. But just like Wednesday, he’s never known when to shut up, and that’s not a good thing, despite what you and the rest of his minions believe.
When Guiliani, Trump jr, and then Trump himself all got up and encouraged the masses to go up the street and attack the Capitol, it was unique. It’s unlike anything else we’ve seen before.  The fact that you don’t recognize that fact is insane. It was so bad that everybody forgot about the phone call on Saturday they could have probably gotten him impeached and convicted by itself of there was enough time left.
This has without a doubt been the worst election cycle by a soundly beaten president and his blindly loyal fanbase, ever. No question.
Y’all all thought Hillary was a sore loser for not conceding the night of the election, and here you are ransacking the Capitol in what has to be views as a nine-week temper tantrum.

I’d be willing to grant him that he’s not responsible for the actions of the right fringe retards who stormed the Capitol. But his poor response during and shortly thereafter is 100% on him. And this is coming from a guy who would still vote for him over Joe Biden...I mean Kamala Harris.

No, I think you're the delusional one...you seem to think I am for compromise on important issues...I am not.  The Tea Party was elected for a purpose and they stood by it...how disgraceful.

By the way, the gov shutting down was a good thing.

You can't seem to help yourself with the insults and this from a guy that posted a while back that we shouldn't insult anyone.

Your TDS is showing with the Lord and Savior stuff, but I have come to see you can't help yourself...you HATE Trump that much and anyone else that doesn't must worship at the alter of Trump...funny guy.

So we've never seen anything like it before?  What about Maxine Watters?  And show me the quote where Trump encouraged folks to ATTACK the Capitol. (By the way, I can disagree with what Trump said and still not think he intentionally incited a riot...try not to let you emotions swing completely one way every time you post.)

One more thing, I didn't ransack the Capitol, did you?  You said you voted for Trump so you bear as much guilt as I do by your logic...lol.

A conservative that hates the Tea Party and loves Bill Clinton...absolutely amazing.

First off, by continuing to push the lies about the election being stolen (Because without proof, and allegation is just as good as a lie) even after court after court and investigation after investigation concluded that THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD FRAUD, Trump continued to force the issue based on nothing but unsubstantiated, regurgitated claims with no evidence, until this happened.  If you keep telling people that the election is stolen you'd better have more proof than facebook posts made by your own supporters.  Period. If somebody screams "the election was stolen" long enough, their supporters will believe it.  Don't believe me?  If you keep yelling "institutional racism and white privilege are the biggest problems facing black people today" they'll believe those lies, too.

But for your PROOF I'll give you Rudolf Guiliani saying that those attendance say that they should go down there and have "TRIAL BY COMBAT."

This is the hidden content, please

or, you can have Donald Trump, Jr. saying "we're coming for you, and we're going to have a good time doing it"

This is the hidden content, please

As far as Trump himself goes, there are just too many inflammatory speeches to even list. Whether we're talking about punching Dems in the audience, repeatedly trying to convince people (you, successfully) that boat parade=gonna win, and anything else means that the election was stolen.  He's literally that kid that would knock the monopoly game over and cry "you cheated!' because he didn't win.  Today's kids would throw their controller and cry... possibly at the tv set.  Here's  a basic rundown.  Not a liberal source, either.

The only people NOT condemning Trump at this point for inciting that violence are his staunchest supporters.  Like yourself.  And if your best argument is "well, they did it first," then you aren't much of a man, either.

I don't think I'd go that far, but I would honestly just not vote for anybody in the Presidential race if I had a chance to do it all over.  I'll bet that Trump would lose by an even greater margin if the race were to actually be re-done at this point.

He was literally asking the courts in Pennsylvania to throw out ALL mail-in ballots.  Those are our service people, our invalid, or people who otherwise would have voted mail-in.  Jesus.  The really impressive thing is that their REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED state legislature is who set the mail-in ballot fiasco in motion, but then Republicans filed a suit to reject all mail-in ballots collected under their own rules AFTER the votes had all been counted!!!!! Think about that.

Sorry, wrong again.  Lots of folks, like myself, disagree the manner that Trump handled events, but still don't believe he was guilty of inciting a riot.  There is actually a middle ground.  Like I said, stop letting your emotions run away...Trump will be gone soon and you can stand back and choose who your next boogie man will be.  My point about Maxine Watters is that you didn't make any noise about her but you're losing your mind over Trump, but it does make sense after you revealed your admiration for Bill Clinton.

You’re undying loyalty to Trump’s nuts has clouded your judgment. I think it’s hilarious that the left thinks Ted Cruz and the like should resign, but Maxine Watters, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Obama himself voiced the same objections to certification over the last few years. Watters was also wrong when she encouraged people to hassle others with different political views.

HOWEVER, nothing she did compares to organizing a rally that will conclude with a March to the Capitol to either intimidate lawmakers or even outright halt the Peoples Business by forcefully stopping the constitutional process of electing a new president...which is exactly what happened.
Trump has tried to destroy the peaceful transfer of power that has been a hallmark of our great republic.
I haven’t forgotten the “nah-nah-nah... good-bye” chants to George Bush in 2008. Nor have I forgotten the riots that occurred after the 2016 inauguration. The Democrats have worked hard to cheapen that transfer and some would rightly argue that THEY set this all in motion with their behavior in past years. No one will argue that, although they might not have besieged our capitol, the rioting would have been much worse had Trump actually been re-elected.
But what you won’t hear me say, and you should not say, either, is “they did it first” or “b-b-but... they did it, too!”  All that matters is they right wingers did it this time. Period. There’s no excusing that behavior.
Shame on you for being such a small person.

Chill out, CB, Trump is gone.  Comb out the Mullet, feed the pit bulls and get another natural light.  Biden, not quite your hero Clinton, is on the way.

    • REL actually improved this year to 6-4 which was remarkable because like you said, they had a lot of injuries and their bench was thin before that.  It’s crazy how the smallest of the 3 GCCISD High Schools finds a way to at least field a team that can hold their own but you’re right that coaching is one aspect of it.  Not that they’re a top 150 team or even close to it but if they’d lost a couple less guys there’s a real chance they could have beat Texas City and gone to at least the 1st round of playoffs this year which for GCCISD football might as well be State for how hard it is for them.   You’re spot-on about GCM and RSS coaches.  GCM coach is 2-28 over 3 years and RSS coach is 15-45 over 6.  Hard to get kids to participate in what they know from the outset is a losing proposition.  I watched the GCM/NS Game.  I was worried someone would get hurt, felt sick.  All 22 of NS starters are high level D1 Commits, QB is 19 years old, and GCM lined up a bunch of Sophomores against them, kids that aren’t even old enough to drive.     I know GCCISD wouldn’t ever do it but they really ought to stop insisting that the 3 High Schools play each other for their first 2 out of conference games.  At least let GCM out of it.  All 3 schools are in different Classifications so the wins don’t matter except for bragging rights around town and with REL winning both those games every season all it does is kill morale before the first District game is even played.  Let GCM schedule some OOC games on their level like Houston Sterling/Sam Houston/Chavez for their first 3.  That way there’s a good chance even if they lose every District game they could end up 3-7 and if they beat Channelview 4-6.  GCM having to lose to RSS and REL to start their season every year is just a killer.   You want to know why all the talent at EF Green Jr doesn’t show up at GCM?  Because that talent transfers to North Shore after 8th grade is done.  Straight-up.  They don’t care if you know either.  Those kids moms get on Facebook and brag about it.  Of course, most of those kids end up so far back on the depth chart that by Sophomore year they want to transfer back just so they can get to play at all but then you run into the eligibility thing.    Anyway, sorry for the off-topic tangent, this is a BH thread.
    • They are very good. Really good shooting guard that's '6"3. Also have a do it all forward that's '6"5. He does everything for them. Score, rebound, defend. Maybe not as quick overall as those other teams, but I think they will at least make state semifinals.
