akifan94 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Can anyone give me some info as to what they got considering PN-G could see them in the first round if/ when we make the playoffs?
akifan94 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 ..... A State TitleĀ ;D ;DGalena Park has won a state title? I think you are thinking of Galena Park North Shore in 5A. This is the team Ned beat 47-28 last year in the playoffs.

akifan94 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 Thanks Coop. They are a runnning team for sure and seem to do it very well. They have only thrown 41 passes all year.
CooogaPride Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Seeing that we have played both of yall, I would have to say that they are going to be a tad bit better then yall. PNGĀ will be able to score some points, but by far the best athlete on the field, and better then any athlete yall have played this year will be Gahn McGaffie.Ā He will be the fastest and most elusive person yall have played all year.Ā Lester bush their runningback will be the next most athletic player on the field, Having played both teams I feel that these two players are the gamebreakers.Ā If you can hold them no doubt PNG will win.Ā Plus You have to keep scoring which I know you can do.Ā Galena Park can score a whole bunch but if you hold them to 21 I think The Indians will win the game.Good Luck Injuns
gringo Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Can anyone give me some info as to what they got considering PN-G could see them in the first round if/ when we make the playoffs? They got a D1 QB!

Guest maverick24 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I love how with 3 games left and by the way no one has a playoff spot locked up yet that yall are planning who you will play in the first round!
akifan94 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 I love how with 3 games left and by the way no one has a playoff spot locked up yet that yall are planning who you will play in the first round!Read my post dumb-dumb. I said "if / when". And if PN-G does go they will for sure be D-1 as well as Galena Park. You never stop with the stupid comments.
akifan94 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 They got a D1 QB!I see where he has signed with Mizz. It lists him as an athlete, do you think he plays WR or QB at the next level. I watched his highlight film and never saw him pass, but he is an electric runner. I could not find anything on the RB, is he a junior?
dayton Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 WR or DB I think. SeniorIf I'm not mistaken, he's a 3 or four year starter.
barberosa Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 QB is very good, as well as Bush the rb.Ā #52 is one of the best offensive lineman I have seen in awhile.Ā does anyone know if he has signed with anyone?
tvc184 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Didn't GP come into the Nederland playoff game last year at 10-0?
dayton Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 believe so....I think they would compete well if they were in this district. But when you don't see but one or so tough teams in district, it's hard to flip the switch for the playoffs

He is listed at 6'1" 318 pounds on the roster.
EAGLE07 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 GP was 9-1 entering playoffs..losing final district game to BH in a shootout. GP qb is the real deal..I have not seen PNG but have watched GP several times over the last two years. They are very talented and are very explosive offensively. Obviously, if you stop the run, you beat them. Easier said than done.

jake94 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 They had a really good record when we played them last season ande we smoked them like 48-14 or something like that. Unless they have improved TREMENDOUSLY, PN-G wll smoke them. We had a pretty weak defense last season and beat them easily. Mosely ran for close to 300 yards agains them and I do not remember being overly impressed with any of their athletes. This was last year, mind you, but it would have to be a huge turnaround for them to compete with PN-G.
Zoneblock Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 GP can not compete with the district east of them. It has showed every year they make the play-offs.
Guest Umaga Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Galena Park QB and TB are legit.Ā It is going to be very interesting to see which three teams come out of the golden triangle district.Ā Could we have a PNG/Crosby rematch ?Ā Will the L-Train makes it's first showing in school history ? Will Dayton keep winningĀ ?Ā What about Nederland's chances ?
Guest maverick24 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Can anyone give me some info as to what they got considering PN-G could see them in the first round if/ when we make the playoffs?Man this is a Dumb Thread!
akifan94 Posted October 24, 2007 Author Report Posted October 24, 2007 Man this is a Dumb Thread! You never quit do you mav. You must get really bored or happen to work at the same place I do.

dayton Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 GP can not compete with the district east of them. It has showed every year they make the play-offs. They have a pretty decent program....given the chance to acclimate...I think they would. Everyone thought the same about dayton.
