Actually, the articles of Impeachment are for Inciting an Insurrection.  They detail the pattern of lies that Trump told about the "stolen" election and "fraudulent votes."  They also talked about his call on 1/2 to the GA SOS as part of his plan to overturn the results of our legal election..... the riot at the Capitol was just the last event in a seditious chain of events.

The level of planning only adds credibility to the charges filed against the President.

But his repeating of lies about the election results and imploring his followers to be tough, fight, stop the steal, if you don't fight you won't have a country to fight for, etc... all led to the insurrection that occurred.

The video clearly shows who they are an can be identified. 6 of your neighbors come over an say they could identify the thieves stealing your stuff an they would testify to it under penalty of law. You file the police report. Judge looks at the case an says you don’t have enough evidence to bring it to court. You tell the judge I have video and eyewitness’s to prove it. The police even have fingerprints from the the thieves. The police have the ability with the forensic dept to positively identify the perpetrators. Do you just thank the judge for not letting your case go to court or do you keep presenting your case until someone hears you to get justice. That’s pretty much what Trump has dealt with since Election Day.

Lol... their “mountain of evidence” was a stack of allegations that amounted to nothing.  Just allegations. 
 

That’s one of the biggest reasons why they got chunked out of court repeatedly. Well, that and asking the courts to do things like toss out ALL of that mail-in ballots in Georgia. That was never going to happen, btw.

Lol! Go watch 15 hours of the Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan State Legislature Hearings where sworn testimony and evidence were presented an get back with me. Of course you’ll have to find a link where it was livestreamed because the mainstream media sure didn’t televise it. But we sure got 3 years of coverage of the Russia Bullshit without any evidence. You want do it because your too intellectually lazy to do it. Evidence was never looked at by the court. Of course if it went to court then that what have meant Trumps team would be entitled to Discovery which the states didn’t want. Then we would have got to see how deep the fraud was.
