Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Can the L TRAIN for the first time in school history make the playoffs? Guys keep your fingers crossed. A win this week will really help our chances.
bullets13 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 i'm going to go with probably... i'd give ya'll 50/50 odds against nederland. if ya'll beat them, ya'll are in easily, if ya'll don't, things will be interesting.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Lumberton wont beat NED, BUT, i still think they make the playoffs somehow
PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 It will come down to the last game. (assumming you hold the table in the next two games)Beat Nederland and Lumberton goes to the post season. With Lumberton having homefield advantage, that is increasing your chances.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 We have Ozen and LCM. I like our chances against them. We win those 2 i would think we're in win or lose to Nederland.
akifan94 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I think they have a good shot. It would be a shame if they do not after what they have accomplished so far.
stevieray Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I think Lumberton will make the playoffs...I also believe that this district will make some noise in the playoffs.
WOS95 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 just finished watching the png vs. lumberton game. both are outstanding football teams. i think the raiders have a very good chance of making the playoffs this year. it's basically up to them....how bad do the raiders want it?
PNG Proud Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I say yes. I beleive Lumberton will beat Ned IF they play the way they did against PNG. They're a good team and I don't think they'll let 1 loss derail them. They're more balanced than Ned, can run as well as pass and their defense is real scrappy.Lumberton takes the #2 spot.
KG03bruins7 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Lumberton will make the playoffs and make some noise. Good luck. ;D
raiderpride Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 i firmly believe this team will be in the post season ;D
BIGMO44 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I think they make it. I believe they'll run the table from here on out. Will be a close one with NED.
Guest maverick24 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I wish L-Train fans would not make threads like this or the one about what RB u would pick. It just opens us up for bad post later.
AggiesAreWe Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 We have Ozen and LCM. I like our chances against them. We win those 2 i would think we're in win or lose to Nederland. That's actually not the case. If Dayton wins out, they'll finish 6-1 along with PNG( as long as the Indians win their other 2 games). That leaves Lumberton and Nederland at 5-2, Lumberton beating LCM and Ozen, losing to Nederland. Nederland beating LCM and Lumberton, losing to Dayton. Nederland would get the third spot with the head to head win over Lumberton. There are other scenerios that would leave Lumberton out, but that's the most obvious one.
KFDM COOP Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Good point. Looks like it will come down to week 10.

It could very easily happen just the way you've stated. Bottom line, Lumberton needs to win out!
kville_extreme Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 lumberton needs to keep their heads on straight and they just MIGHT make it to the postseason. it's all on their playing field now.
TNTITANS Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 If Lumberton wins the next two games, I am driving OVER 800 miles (from Tennessee) and they better BEAT Nederland and make it into the playoffs. My question is, if they win the next two weeks but lose to Nederland, will they make it? Or if they win the next three (Ned.) included, will they be into the playoffs? I am coming to see the celebration first hand. Eighteen years after being out of school, I want to see it!!!!!!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
raiderpride Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 now that my friend, that is dedication lol

stevieray Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 What's does the rest of Lumberton's schedule look like?
tvc184 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 if they win out, they are guaranteed a playoff berth.Nederland, PN-G, Lumberton and Dayton are all in the same situaion. If they win out, they go to the playoffs. They still all control their own destiny.
TNTITANS Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Don't know if I am dedicated or possibly INSANE!!! My husband says it is insane for me to do that so I guess you can take your pick Raiderpride! I say it's dedication!
