I donā€™t understand it. Iā€™m wrong from time to time, (on a matter of fact, but never on opinion, lol) but you just have to admit that you learned something and move on.Ā

Lemme tell you something about me. When Al Gore lost, I didnā€™t give a gol darn about Florida because Al lost his home state. Win Tennessee,Ā Florida doesnā€™t matter. Shame on him. Elections are safe in thisĀ country. Losers arenā€™t always happy, but classy ones accept it and move on. Kerry and Clinton both conceded within 24 hours of the polls closing. Trump has the opposite of class, whatever that is. Georgia was recounted twice, one of them an audit. There is no excuse for this election not to have been conceded other than naked political ambition at the cost of Constitutional values. Want me to slither back under my rock now?

I thought Clinton showed a lack of class in ā€˜16 by not conceding election night.... it was cut and dried. I wasnā€™t upset about Gore not conceding until he did (well, the second time he conceded)Ā ... the race in ā€˜00 was just too close.Ā

I knew by 11/5/20Ā that it was over. Even if he waited until he exhausted his legal challenges (which were pointless), he should have conceded by 12/14 at the latest. To still be hoping on 1/6/21 that he could somehow overturn the election results was pure delusion and lunacy, the likes of which weā€™ve never seen before.Ā
Ā

But that makes me a lib traitor, lol.Ā

Second thought.... elections arenā€™t safe with mass mail-in balloting. That needs to be addressed or it will be the undoing of our democracy. We need voter ID requirements as well. Ā The possibilities for fraud are too great because of lax controls.Ā

Disagree. Been working pills for 40 years. The system is good, not perfect, but best in the world.

No, sir... weā€™ve never had a total mass mailout to every voter on the roll without a request. Never.Ā
If people really do feel like the mail in ballots were a source of fraud in 2020 and Dems refuse to tighten the requirements up, you will see fraud becoming more prevalent.Ā Once people feel like our elections canā€™t be trusted (and thatā€™s what a very large percentage of the country believes today) our democracy will fail. Itā€™s long since time for Democrats to agree to sensible voter ID laws, no illegal immigrants voting, and mail out ballots by permission only.... or honest people will be forced to vote with bullets. Itā€™s a very dangerous game that Dems are playing.Ā

You canā€™t be the party of ā€œeverybody has a right to right to voteā€ while simultaneously encouraging voter fraud.Ā

Yeah, thatā€™s why I asked the question I did. Big difference between absentee voting and mass mail out ballots. Night & Day.Ā

The Rā€™s do not have it in them. Ā You watch them sit back and not go after Joe and Hunter on their China and Ukraine dealings.

Thereā€™s nothing there.Ā
Ā

Nothing that the rest of them arenā€™t doing. Itā€™s like wanting to investigate Biden for drinking martinis at lunch... when they all do it.Ā

I think are absolutely some shady dealings with the Bidenā€™s and Ukraine. Ā Now,Ā with Dem, control nothing will happen.

So little there that Joe pulled a quid pro quo, admittedly so, video included, to get rid of the investigator sniffing around Burisma and Hunter,Ā but nothing happens. Trump got impeached by a phone call with no grit for supposedlyĀ the same thing.Ā
Ā

You are right, there are a lot of them involved (R & D),Ā especially the ones controlling the first impeachment. Again, this is why Trump was/isĀ so hated, not because he wasĀ so brash, even though he was.

Not so much true. I felt like there was nothing to the first impeachment, but absolutely detested him as President. What people donā€™t realize is this... while YOU are ready and willing to overlook his behavior, most decent, undecided voters arenā€™t willing to just ignore repugnant behavior. It doesnā€™t make them ā€œsnowflakesā€ because they hold themselves and their leaders to certain standards of decency that Trump obviously lacked, and his loyalists didnā€™t demand.Ā
Ā

When a lifelong conservative like myself really, REALLYĀ doesnā€™t want to vote for the Republican candidate, thatā€™s not a bad reflection on me, thatā€™s a bad reflection on the candidate. Iā€™m not alone, either.Ā
Ā

And for what itā€™s worth, people didnā€™t decide to dislike trump over the impeachment... their minds were made up years before that.Ā Ā

Thatā€™s all you gleaned from my post......the last line? My post was about Hunter being protected by Daddy with a quid pro quo, while Trump hadĀ to experience a witch hunt impeachment. Like or dislike Trump, are these the kinds of game we can expect from lawmakers (I use that term very loosely)? No one can explain why one is guilty and the other is not......with freakin EVIDENCE......confession and video!!!!

I can explain it... because the President was from one party and the House of reps was controlled by another. Just like in ā€˜98 when another President was impeached by a house of reps that was from a different party.Ā
Ā

And Iā€™ve already seen some of my Republican friends posting ā€œImpeach Biden,ā€ so Iā€™m guessing all weā€™ll have to do is elect a couple more Rs to the house and theyā€™ll find a crime to fit.Ā

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasnā€™t ā€œgotten the latest COVID shots and Iā€™m not going to.ā€Ā Ā ā€œI PROBABLY SHOULDNā€™T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;ā€ Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UPā€. "I donā€™t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They donā€™t.ā€ Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of moneyā€¦ Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.ā€ ā€˜We fly under the radar of being scrutinizedā€¦I don't think I have too much to worry about.ā€™ Trump victory ā€œworse for the NIH.ā€ ā€œIt would be better for a Democrat to be in office.ā€ WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back toā€¦..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You donā€™t think thatā€™s important?
    • I like Newtonā€™s chances here. Iā€™ve watched Ā videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ainā€™t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. Iā€™m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.šŸ¦… I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.šŸ˜‚ that was a heck of a good game.
