mannn i hope We (wos) would have to play them in the state besides second round or first ...but i am not doubting my boyz las  year we were better but stupid mistakes stop us from winning so we need to step up this year and beat them

My little brother lives in the Giddings area and has seen them play. He says they are the real deal.

NO! That's a tough district!

History does not indicate this. Last year, all but Giddings was gone after the first round and the teams that beat them didn't last very long after that. I don't think they are any better than 21, probably not even as good from top to bottom.

I saw Giddings against Hutto, they are a very one dimentional running team.

They only attempt one or two passes per game. QB Fitzhenry is an exceptional

runner, Navasota and Caldwell did slow him down some but he is still the

difference maker in every game they play. My opinion is any team that can

find a way to contain him can win, however nobody has done it yet but wouldn't be

suprised if WOS defense could if they meet in the playoffs.

We have already stopped him twice. 05 & 06

Giddings' Defense is as good or better than last year. The million dollar question is can we score enough against them?? Playcalling will have to change in a big way for us to have a chance.

I went to the Giddings /WOS game last year. That game could have gone either way. From the stats I've seen, WOS defense is stronger than last year.

It's nice to know you can already talk about your playoff opponent down the road. That's not arrogance in my book, that's knowing  what's in front of you.

I wouldn't even discuss this until after the Jasper game. Now, all we have to do is win one game out of 2 against two teams with a combined 2-14 record. No offense to them, but it's pretty safe to say we'll win at least one of them. Then our first round opponent will likely have no more than 3 wins. The only thing that will keep this matchup from happening is if LaGrange were to beat Navasota in week 8 which would send Giddings to DI. I really hope that doesn't happen though. I think we would match up very well with them.

No way Giddings' defense is better than last year...  if a 2-6 Wimberley can put 21 points up against them and a 3-5 Hutto put 35 points up against them....  I'm not that impressed.

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
