Guest Kelly Football Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 LC-M started off looking sharp and was predicted to make the playoffs. What has happened???
jake94 Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 I will say this... They do have a few good looking athletes on their team. But, I was expecting much more from them as well. They ran the ball the ENTIRE 4th quarter last night and were down by 28. Not sure if that is the best way to play catch up.
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 LC-M started off looking sharp and was predicted to make the playoffs. What has happened??? I was wondering the same thing!
adminbaberuth Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 #18 Salter ran the ball hard, but he also had to cover Asa. #16 Richard is real quick and dangerous, he needed the ball more.LCM has to work on mixing it up a little, their line looked a little undersized for power running game. But, they are very good in baseball and that's what matters to me.Â
Guest Indian Chief Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Seems like they have went way down since the beginning of the season for some reason.
Guest Umaga Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 They can only use the practice fields when the baseball coach lets them. ;D
77 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 They have had a ton of injuries, lost another one last night with broke arm. But theres more problems than that, such has disipline. No excuses for the way they are playing. ???
bullets13 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 LC-M started off looking sharp and was predicted to make the playoffs. What has happened???they were apparently a little overrated at the beginning of the year. also, PNG has exceeded expectations. add into that the fact that dayton is very good again this year, nederland is in usual form, and lumberton has come out of nowhere and taken the district by storm. at the beginning of the year, i still wouldn't have predicted them as a playoff team, but i thought they would be more competitive than they've been. as things have turned out, it seems like everyone is clustered at either the top or the bottom, and there is no real middle ground this year, which is where i kinda figured that LCM would end up.Â
BigWolf10 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 It's just a matter of time. Eventually, they'll break threw. Now they are getting better atheletes. Putting it together and keeping it together is going to be their task.
WOS95 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 even though im not a big fan of lcm for obvious reasons. i still feel bad for moody and his team. the expectations were very high in bear country this year and it just has not worked out. hopefully they will get things together and be a little more competitive next year. they have some good athletes, they just need to hang in there and believe they can win.Â

I hear a few players that migrated over there from Wo-s is coming back to Wo-s next year...you know they aren't use to losing like that. I think this was their best year to make the playoffs after this year, it will be a struggle.
LionHeart Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 they have a lot of good players. They looked good at the beginning of the year...they have just went downhill from there
kicker Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Disipline, disipline, disipline. They have none. They have some great talent on that team. Its ashamed of how they have been playing with all of the fan support behind them. I believe in the rivalry like most others, but it makes me mad at how they are doing. They SHOULD have been ALOT better. I think after our game, they gave up. No heart left.
setxathlete14 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 the only reason... graduation...
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 they wont be in my playoff prediction next year, too many of their best players graduating.
footballfan5261 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 if they have the talent like everyone keeps talkin about... they must not have good leadership. an abundance of leadership beats talent any day!!!
BigWolf10 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 if they have the talent like everyone keeps talkin about... they must not have good leadership. an abundance of leadership beats talent any day!!!yea' we found that out this year :'(

I think this was their best year to make the playoffs after this year, it will be a struggle.BINGO. This is a one of many problems. Because of the ease of going back & forth, you never know who is going to stay and who you're gonna have who you can depend on.Â
skipper Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 LC-M has alot of Sr on there team and not a very good JV team.it is going to be a LONG TIME for LC-M long hard road coach moody will start feeling the presser soon .and yes there will be some kids comming back to wo-s next year all will be SR

Bigdog Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 yea' we found that out this year :'(Hey BCJag, classy signature. ;D
77 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 There have been several players in the past that may come over in the 9th and stay for playing time at whatever level and than move back to WOS when they are sr and can play on varsity , cant really blame them as long as the powers that be let it happen, heck that way they can go to the playoffs and a shot at a scholarship. But I dont think there or any playing at LCM now that recently moved over, but I know some werent there a few years ago, dont know where they came from.

I think this was their best year to make the playoffs after this year, it will be a struggle. Not sure if any of this is factual or just speculation, but if they aren't "used to losing" I have a simple remedy. Put in the work & dedication necessary to start winning. Don't jump ship. Be a difference maker. I can assure you many of the other players, coaches & fans don't like losing either.

Guest LCM Volleyball Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 A few of our players are headed back to WOS from what i hear.
