Arguably their best player has been out the past few games. Much like HF has been missing their best two players the past few games. Injuries, not Covid. Injuries to key players are part of sports but still tough to overcome, especially in HS. Quote

Yes, the district’s co-offensive mvp last year. I said “arguably” their best player above because I really, really like their young PG. But despite what the coach says above, it is extremely hard to replace your leading scorer at any level, and certainly at the HS level. And then you have intangibles such as senior leadership (kid who is hurt is a senior and a multi-year starter) that are hard to quantify but can have a huge impact nonetheless. Quote
