southern-thunder Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 LOL I wasnt even on most of the weekend and got another negative Karma point!! ;D
MikeEast Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 LOL I wasnt even on most of the weekend and got another negative Karma point!! ;DIt is. Anyone with 200 posts can applaud or smite you so its totally subjective. Even if you are the most positive poster here if you have people that dont like you they can smite you. Although I really try to be positive and constructive I am shocked I am above zero.
akifan94 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 My karma goes down daily even though I have not disagreed with anyone since the Lumberton game. I got a feeling some of those Lumberton guys are still smiting me.
southern-thunder Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 Well now I am back to even. LOL Yea i try to be as positive as I can and keep my word when say I am goign to be here to eat my crow.
mustang85 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Karma on here is a joke!! Mine should be way lower than that!!
UTfanatic Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I'm still negative. So I guess it works.
bullets13 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I've actually come to the conclusion that i've made someone mad in the past, because anytime i'm not on for awhile i come back and i've dropped a point. it doesn't matter if i haven't made a post in a week, or if i haven't disagreed with anyone. i wouldn't worry too much about it. it's nice to get karma from people who respect your posts, but in the end it means nothing. some of my favorite posters on here have karma around -40.
shorttexas1 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 It should be some kind of critiria to smite or apllaud. Like you must have 500 post or at least a year tenure before you can participate in smite or applaud. Someone that signs up tomorrow can read one of my post and jaffect my karma!!!! unfair

Someone that signs up tomorrow can read one of my post and jaffect my karma!!!! unfairthey changed it so that you have to make 200 posts before you can smite.
JAV Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I've apparently ticked somebody off this morning. (And it's just an OPINION thing!) LOL I know, let's have a spelling contest instead of a popularity contest. Maybe it makes someone feel better to go in and subtract from someone else. LOL....too funny!
setxguru Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I am a fairly new poster, but I really don't understand the whole Karma thing. All I know is that mine doesn't change much.
JAV Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 I don't understand it either...just what I've read on this and another post. Hey...it may depend on the ol' rivalry thing, too.
Guest WeedBegone Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 You guys are so uninformed. At the end of the year KFDM COOP sends everybody a check equivalent to their Karma. Better get it up.
Green and Bold Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Let me give you a little secret about the karma thing. If you type the letters WO-S (please forgive me karma gods) without some glowing, positive, worshipping post, you will be smited. At first I kinda took it personally, but now I wear the negative karma with pride. I guess its all in good fun. You know they (karma gods) have the power and the rest of us are at the mercy of their "smiteness". I think you too can be a karma god by making like 200 or so posts. (You know, if you don't have a life or something). ;D ;D

tvc184 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 You guys are so uninformed. At the end of the year KFDM COOP sends everybody a check equivalent to their Karma. Better get it up.I guess that means that some people are going to owe Coop some money. ;D
PNG Proud Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Karma on here is a joke!! Mine should be way lower than that!!There ya go 85...feel better now? ;D
stangchain Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 There ya go 85...feel better now? ;DHey, Hey, Hey...That's not fair now....I DID say that I thought PNG should be over Ned in the rankings 'cause PNG beat Ned. Does that count for anything? LOL
PNG Proud Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Oh My Bad...I thought he was complaining because his Karma was too high, so.....I was just helping him out!
stangchain Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Sorry, I thought you were giving him Karma. LOL! It is funny!
SHS_ATW Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 There is only one person on this board whose karma is true and that is kvilleballa.
stangchain Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I haven't been on long enough to experience Kvilleballa. I'll have to go find a post and see what Karma they have.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Karma is a joke to me. You can say stuff that people simply don't agree with and they'll smite you, or just that they don't like you. Personally, I only smite someone if their logic is just terrible in something they say, but I hardly ever smite. I applaud a lot. Usually though, I only use applaud when someone just says something that is on their mind that could be offensive but they really don't give a damn what anyone thinks. I like that kind of honesty, so I applaud.
bullets13 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 i'm with you man... i don't necessarily have to agree with the post, but it has to be well thought out, well worded, and be based on some form of rational thinking.
