Aces_Full Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I expect a great game like last year. Vidor will be tough at home. I say Pirates by a bucket.
Guest catfever Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Depends if Silsbee is in the football playoffs
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Depends if Silsbee is in the football playoffs Good point. We see this alot at the beginning of the season.
setxsportswhizz08 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 vidor wins by 1 pointBy a point???Im taking Vidor by 12!
Trad Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Vidor will do well against Silsbee and most other teams in the district. They are not over-powering but steady, fairly solid with some basketball savy players returning with varsity experience. I believe Silsbee has lost several key players last season, Vidor lost one. Silsbee is always tough but rebuilding, I say Vidor by 10.
bullets13 Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 i'll take silsbee by 15. why not, everyone else is picking vidor.

Trad Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 If you understood from my post that I thought Silsbee was in the22-4A district then I may should have written more plain. Vidor playes Silsbee every year, most of the time twice. They (Silsbee) always field a very good team. Not only will Vidor do well against Silsbee, they will match up well with most other teams in their district (22-4A). The last sentence was a reference to those who may think Vidor will be fielding a sub-par team and finishing at the lower end of the district. I do not think this will be the case. Very few coaches in this district will take Vidor lightly. I also believe Nederland will have a good season, better than last year. Do not ask me what place each will end up, I do not have a clue.
KFDM COOP Posted November 4, 2007 Author Report Posted November 4, 2007 This will be a great game to kick off the season!!
VPbasketball Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 I agree..this will be a GREAT matchup to start the season. Vidor has been practicing hard and has been doing well but Silsbee is a very good team. Both teams played a great game last year and i'm lookin forward to another one. Vidor has 4 starters returning and Silsbee did lose a few of their key players. I say Vidor by 10
Master T Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Silsbee is not rebuilding they are reloading alright and it will be a good matchup like last year because it went to two overtime with Silsbee taking it by 1 point at the end of regulation.Silsbee win by a good 10 point
