This one was definitely worth the drive over. Good game between two good teams, HJ looks to be hitting their stride at the right time.

Looking back at this game I think depth was a huge factor. HJ’s big kid got in early foul trouble and sat out most of the 2nd quarter but the 2 kids that came off the bench did an excellent job behind him. The Hawks went 9-10 deep last night and I believe that was the difference in the ballgame. I don’t know if Huffman was missing some but they only dressed 8 at the varsity level and didn’t seem to use them all. If both clubs avoid injuries and illness they should be looking at a seeding game. Both teams will be returning good numbers of players and have very evenly matched JV clubs so this head to head should turn into a pretty good rivalry going forward.

No. Just going by the difference in the last game they played. Forty point swing. Coach Davis is very good in making adjustments.
