KFDM COOP Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Four ballplayers receive Juliet Tyner scholarships Memorial's Nicholas Beamon, Woodville's Trevor Rainey, Spurger's Kayla Callaway and Bridge City's Ashley Lapeyrolerie received this year's Juliet Tyner Memorial Scholarships. The two baseball players and the two softball players each received a $1,500 college scholarship. The theme of the scholarship foundation, named in honor of the mother of major league baseball player Jason Tyner, is "keeping the dream alive" to play at the next level.
