Is This Good News?

I can’t decide if this article is really good news or if the writer was being facetious.  Out of 128,000 Israelis who got the vaccine, one week later, only 20 had Covid.  Is that good?   How many will have it a month after the shot?   When we got vaccinations for smallpox, or polio, I don’t remember people still catching it.  A lot of diseases were virtually eradicated.  Crazy me, I thought you get the vaccine, Bam, no more Covid.  Perhaps a shot of Jack Daniels would be better.

 Don’t remember the smallpox. Polio was dropped on a sugar cube.
