Lady Cardinals Basketball to Hold Red-White Scrimmage

Lamar women take the court at 7:30, following men's scrimmage

BEAUMONT - Fans will have an opportunity to check out the Lamar University women's basketball team in action on Wednesday night at 7:30, when they hold a red-white scrimmage at the Montagne Center.

The Lady Cardinals will take the court after the men's team holds a red-white scrimmage of their own. Admission to the scrimmage is free and Halloween candy will be given out to all children in attendance until it runs out.

Following Wednesday night's scrimmage the Lady Cards will be in action again on Saturday at 4 p.m. when they take on the "All Stars", a team made up of former college standouts. Their first regular season game will be played on November 10, when they host the LSU-Shreveport Lady Pilots at the Montagne Center at 4 p.m.
