Jones is a good guy.  That Kirbyville program is a strange one.  Its hard to keep up with them for sure.

I’ve tried googling Craig Jones and him being a dc at pleasant grove. Dude was a heck of a baseball coach. There’s no denying that. but it’s tough finding anything about his football coaching other than he coached football at WOS.

Lets respect the man tried.  He showed up everyday and committed to our program.

Lets make this thread about whos coming and not a Jones debate.

Who are some guys on the radar? I think this could be a good job with the right hire.

until kids quit complaining about the coach working them to hard and mom and dad stay out of it, good luck

I think most of those leave this year.  I think our JR and below grouo are not as bad.

Here’s the deal you lose everything just about on Varsity. You bring back 1 starter on the offensive line and bring back maybe 2 starters on defense. A Junior Varsity that had 12 kids to finish the season. Lose all your skill position starters. Who ever it is will have his work cut out. Lose entire defensive line (3), 2 inside linebackers, 1 outside linebacker and all 4 starters in the secondary. I look for a bigger turnout than 35-38 to start the season. Kids just refused to play for him and coaches hate to coach with him.

Gotcha lol. Just going to keep mentioning his name man. He's a great guy, and I want to see him land a AD/Head coaching job.

Haha. I saw you post on another thread and someone made the same remark. Had to do the same.
