I am ready for our state to jump on this train and get it moving nationally.  This bold governor is leading and removes the restriction of wearing masks and restrictions on public gatherings.  It is time.  There are inherent risks every time you go out.  If you know them and still choose to go out you are accepting that you are mature enough to make them.  You do not need Uncle Sam involved in “keeping you safe” by mandating masks - and in some cases double masks; with the majority worn below the nose or in some similar bizarre way.  Now if you want to wear one - have at it, but if you don’t run free!!!!!

I have had Covid and survived. I also think it’s time to stop wearing masks. Texas won’t be far behind.

I wonder if this means y’all are still going to vote for Abbott lol

We’re going to vote Abbott out and bring in Trump. Call it “The New Republic of Texas” and build a wall on all borders. The average income of Texicans will soar.

It will all depend on who runs against him.  If it is who I think it will be the decision will be easy - Vote Abbot.  That way “Hell yea we’re coming for your guns” burglar can remain out of office.

I honestly don’t think Texas will be ready for him for about 2 more cycles... but it’s headed that way.

Open all the churches. Open all the schools. Open all the businesses.
Do not wait for the government to give you permission.

You don’t require its permission. You are free people. The politicians are your representatives, not your rulers.

Amen. They can’t arrest EVERYONE!

I like Abbott but I think he’s done.  Crenshaw runs on the Rs posturing for a national run (which I’m all for).  Matthew McCon (however your spell that name) is rumored on the D side but I can’t imagine why he would want to trade in the life he has for the headaches of Governor of Texas.   And I’m not sure anyone could beat Crenshaw.  He’s as good as we’ve got in this state.
