Senate Impeachment Trial Act II

Pelosi, and the House, voted to impeach Trump without anything resembling a trial.  No investigation into the riot, simply what has happened for the last four years, Orange man bad, impeach.   Justice Roberts has recuse himself.  Anyone wonder why?   Maybe he knows it’s unconstitutional?   Fact is, evidence has been found by law enforcement to indicate the Jan 6 riot was planned well in advance.   If so, it will (again) expose Pelosi, and the House Democrats for the partisan loons they are.

It was planned in advance, and the FBI knew it.  All planned by the Democrats to go after Trump one final time!!

This is clearly illegal.  So, why do they continue to press it?  For one simple reason -- they are still scared of Trump!  What else could it be?

If the FBI knew in advance of a riot. Did they not inform trump? Then why with that knowledge would he encourage his followers.

Don’t just impeach throw him under the jail.

Treason

Should Joe and Hunter be thrown under the jail as well?  Should biden have impeachment proceedings began in him for his dealings with Ukraine?  Can you show me where Trump encouraged someone to storm the Capitol?  I bet you can’t.  Treason, that’s laughable!!

Who said they knew in advance? This laughable impeachment gets you all tingly but you are willing to overlook so many things that are much worse. You have no principles..... more of a whichever way the wind blows, as long as you can attempt to nail  Trump. Pitiful.

I’m sure they’re smart, but Trump’s lawyers are not very good public speakers. Embarrassing. Did you see the second one holding the top of his combover when he tilted his head back to drink water?

Here's the reason...I'm with you though, kinda strange.

Imagine having a "trial" where the "judge" had already voted to convict the defendant? That's what happens in banana republics, third world dictatorships and now the United States Senate. SAD and PATHETIC!!

It’s being done according to the Constitution, sir. A Senate trial and a trial under the criminal justice system are two distinctly different things. Your conflation of the two is disingenuous.

The same FBI that spied on his campaign and pushed the Russia Hoax. I think the FBI and the DOJ needs to be put on trail for treason. Your that fool that needs the government to save you from yourself. Your Kindergarten post is null an void.

DOJ and FBI are on the trail of treason. The trail Trump blazed sending his followers to do his dirty work. Did you really think he was going to walk down to the Capitol with them? P.T. Barnum was a rookie compared to trump.

Yeah just like the election where different identities under the State Legislatures changed voting laws where it specifically states in the constitution that State Legislatures are the only ones authorized to change voting laws. You don’t get to go by the constitution when’s it’s convenient for you. That’s why Texas sued the swing states that didn’t follow the constitution in regards to the election. The fool (Leahy) in charge of this ridiculous 2nd impeachment voted to impeach Trump in the 1st fake impeachment.

Your ignorance to what truly went down on the 6th of January is blinding.

I beg to differ.  Impeachment is there to remove civil servants.  Trump is now a private citizen.  They are trying to inflict as much pain on him as they can.  I did hear shumer say that they want to make it were Trump can't ever run again.  But, why bother if he's so "unpopular?"  Like I've said before:  They are scared of him!

The left planned the attack that the right actually did.

Makes sense.  Got it.

I’m sure it was ultimately a majority of Trump supporters that were involved. I’m just saying that you can’t blame Trump for it. If they want to make an example of someone, arrest and prosecute the actors. I’m pretty open-minded, and my opinion is that he did not know-fully and willfully incite a riot or a break in of the Capitol on 1/6/21.

That's the thing... it should be hashed out in a trial, but the evidence won't matter, it's going to go along party lines.  Ds will vote to convict whether they believe he actually incited the riot, and Rs will vote to acquit regardless of the facts presented.

I think if he's tried federally on criminal charges we might see some sort of clearer indication of where culpability lies.

My OPINION is that his actions did lead to what eventually happened.  Back in 2000 I felt the same way about the endless recounts-like they'd lead to bigger problems.  I'd been saying for a couple of months that if Trump didn't let go of his assertions, people would die, and that's exactly what happened. The real question for me is whether or not the trio of Rudy, Jr, and the Don encouraged people to go down and do what was done.  I lean more towards his words encouraged/excited... but that's just me.

If the FBI and other law enforcement agencies knew in advance, which I suspect they did, why wasn’t there more security?   Because the “powers that be” wanted a cluster fudge.  My guess, the Left planned this.  Funded it, to have agitators lead the crowd right where they went, and cause what happened.  Why?   To do exactly what’s happening now.  Jmo

You want to bury Trump for supposedly inciting a riot, while Maxine Watters, Chuck Schumer, and Bernie Sanders all incited  riots, but they all get a pass from you...... no principles whatsoever. That better? Always have to spell it out for you.

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
