I think they match up well with Silsbee, length and guard play

Silsbee by 8. HF has potential but not enough outside shooting IMO to beat Silsbee. HF only chance at an upset if they win the rebound battle significantly and have plenty of offensive rebounds and put backs which has been Silsbee’s Achilles heel the past few seasons.

Game could go either way.

It all depends on whether good Silsbee or bad Silsbee shows up.

This season being so messed up due to Covid has made for some interesting early round games.

I think HF strength is the big kids that play down low. Their guard play IMO is their weakness.

Does anyone know when the Area Round of the Playoffs will begin, sense the Bi-District Games are being played when the Area Round would have begin.

March 1-2 Regionals

February 24-25 Area

February 26-27 Quarter Finals

March 1-2  Regional Semi-Finals

March 5-6 Regional Finals

March 8-9 State Semi-Finals

Silsbee vs HF Tues, Feb 23

Teams that don't play there Bi-District Games Sat will have to play 3 games (if they win) within a week, the Winner of the Silsbee vs Hamshire-Fannett will have to play their Area Game on Feb 24 or 25.  The Winner of Yates vs Sealy plays tomorrow and would be well rested to play Wed, Feb 24.  For Yates it's make sense to try and play on Wed and Fri (if they win)

The big kid was on the JV last year, he is their best player. They struggled big time on the perimeter against Huffman and HJ
