FT’s hurt us tonight but I was really disappointed in the defense.  Gave up a lot of lay ups.  It didn’t look like they did a good job with help defense.  Like the aggressive drive to the hole offense.

Sorry to disappoint on the defense, but they followed a defensive gameplan to a T!

goal was to disrupt sets and the girls did a heck  of a job doing so!

I’ll say this... Jackson is a once in a generation player, but Sneed is a baller, and only a freshman.  She’s been playing like a senior in the playoffs. There are several other good underclass players on this roster as well.  The hawks could very well keep making these deep runs for another 3 or 4 years

Look forward to seeing how y’all game plan against canyon.  One thing for sure is they haven’t seen the speed that y’all have this year.  Might be quite a bit tougher slowing the game down than they’re used to.

If they followed the game plane to a T, than mission accomplished. No disrespect meant.  I just didn’t like seeing the layups and what appeared to be the lack of help D.
