I don't think he does, but he has coached in SETX (Houston area) before at a very good program.

Cody Mcguire will be the new HFC At Bridge City High school. He was a assistant at Austin Westlake last season.

I’ll give him 2-3 years and he will leave for bigger and better. I don’t know if Nick Sabin could turn that program around.

At Bridge City? Idk. But his son wasn’t the QB at Westlake

His son was backup QB at Westlake. He signed a letter of intent to play at West Texas A&M. QB1 at is a kid who is committed to Clemson.

Cody is a good dude. A west Texas kid that played ball at Crane and Texas Tech.  I'm hoping that he gets a chance to have a program the way he sees fit.

He’ll last bout a year maybe two. Culture shock will ultimately be his undoing

Hopefully he is given the opportunity to build a culture. It doesn't get much better than Austin Westlake, and coaching under a legend like Todd Dodge. Obviously he can't bring any of those studs with him, but hopefully they can coach up what we got, and install a program that everyone in BC will get on board with. 

 

We have had 10 different head coaches since 1974. It is absolutely impossible to build a program when every 3 to 5 years there is a change at the top.
