bullets13 Posted March 29, 2021 Report Posted March 29, 2021 Title explains it all... who's gotten their second dose of the covid vaccine? what was your experience? I'm getting my second shot Thursday. Quote
Hagar Posted March 29, 2021 Report Posted March 29, 2021 My wife & I got our second over two weeks ago. Both sore arms. She ran fever on & off for two days, and bad headache for three days (from fever?). I might have had a touch of fever first day, but was listless for several days. Having been in the military and getting endless shots, the above side affects are not unusual. For anyone wanting, or needing the shot, not a show stopper. bullets13 1 Quote

A BUC 77 Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 Second one on Feb. 26th. Sore arm and a little fever the next day. Well worth it. Everyone needs to do it. Quote
baddog Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 These vaccinations stimulate your immune system to create antibodies. I had Covid. It does the same thing. SmashMouth 1 Quote

I agree. Although they’re “saying” it gives you a stronger and longer lasting immunity. Who knows... Quote
Chester86 Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 Not gonna do it. High survivability rate, non-FDA approved, government pressure and I just don’t want it. Realville 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 April 23. After having the virus during the Christmas holidays, I was going to get it as soon as I could. It was a very rough go of it for me. bullets13 1 Quote

How long antibodies remain in your system is an unknown to me. Some diseases.......we are pretty much vaccinated against for life. These Covid vaccines haven’t been FDA approved. There are reasons for that to be done. Whether this vaccine can prevent Covid is also an unknown. Realville 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Report Posted March 30, 2021 Ok, back on topic for anyone who would like to add some input who's had side effects from the second shot. Quote
bullets13 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Report Posted March 30, 2021 My dad got his second dose yesterday afternoon. He felt fine when he woke up this morning, then rapidly went downhill. Felt like crap for about 6 hours, now feels pretty decent. Quote

He’s fine now. Work with others who have had no problems other than a sore arm. bullets13 1 Quote
