MelanieT Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 6:47 left in the game. Score still 14-13 Kountze. Lions have ball at about mid-field. Tramain playing some. Still limping.

MelanieT Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 TT went in to pass. Incomplete. Couldn't convert. 2:43 left, Kountze takes over but draws penalty. Game is in Kountze.
ecdadx3 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 is this in EC?No. Â It's at Kountze. Â Kountze held EC. Â Takes over near EC 25 with about 3 minutes left.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 I thought this would happen next week versus Hardin
ecdadx3 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Kountze wins 14-13. Â Congrats to Kountze. Â Keep your heads up EC. Â
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Kountze wins 14-13. Congrats to Kountze. Keep your heads up EC. i honestly cant believe it.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 This is another strange happening. Come on Hardin. It's your day next Friday.
bullets13 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 wow, never would've thought it... congrats kountze!
zilla Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Congrats! Â way to go Kountze!I hope the injuries for EC are not serious
bmtdc1996 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Wow, this is a huge surprise. My hat is off to Kountze.Â
MelanieT Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Tramain was in for the last play or two. Trevino went back in earlier in the game. So, evidently he's okay. Heard Donte Raymond was a little slow getting up a couple of times, but seems okay. (This is all fan talk -- nothing official!!)The Bucs need a little healin' time. Afraid they're not gonna get it playing Hardin next Friday. Sheesh! What a season.
mwmuck Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Great job Lions. It's been a long time coming.
highsky Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 congrats Kountze...I think you surprised us all tonight. Â I knew ya'll could play after your game with Hardin, but this really caps off your season. Â What a turnaround for ya'll!!!! BTW, how did you score your touchdowns? Â Are they weak in the secondary with the exception of TT? Â I wouldn't be surprised if the big ol' running back from Kountze had his way with EC...that is a big ol' boy!!!
OldSkool97 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Hopefully TT and the rest are good to go against Hardin next week..Wouldnt want to hear that Hardin only beat them cause TT was hurt or because he didnt play..
whsalum Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 I wouldnt play them next week, save them for the playoffs. I f they don't win next week they may not make the playoffs. They would have 2 losses while Buna and Hardin would have 1 each.Kountze could also have 2 losses.Hummmm this could be interesting!!!!!!!

gdickert Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Wow ... this was one fantastic game. These Lions are for real. They've been proving it every week. No one believed it and I'm sure there will still be doubters out there. But I'll tell you ... when you come to the Lions Den, expect to play ball. The Lions defense was especially sparkling ... EC won the coin toss to open the game and elected to receive the ball. Kountze squibbed the kick, recovered it and scored four plays later. It set the tone for the entire game. The momentum belonged to the Lions ... and they rode it all the way to victory. This was senior night for Kountze ... my son among them ... and I can tell you now, when these guys get together 20 years from now, this is the game they'll be talking about.
NOSEGUARD64 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Well the Lions played a great game tonight...they NEVER stopped FIGHTING. The whole town is proud of them. Special thanks to our Seniors who played their final home game. One more to go! "KEEP FIGHTING"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
