I mean, you watch the game and itβs hard not to say Crosby had the bigger, more athletic team? What was drastically different is the way the two teams were coached. College Station had a dynamic offense that got the ball to eight different receivers and six different ball carriers while Crosbyβs approach is the exact same as itβs been the first ten games of the year. Giving it to Yarbrough as many times possible and hoping he would break one.Β

I will say Crosby shouldβve probably had at least one and probably two more scores due to drops by our X-receiver but 5-6 is 5-6. Crosby probably had ten sophomores start at some point this season so in normal times you would say the outlook is promising but I donβt think the fact that Crosby canβt win a game from the sideline will change no matter the talent/experience/etc., we put on the field during the Willis era. Heβs 21-34 his last five years with zero winning seasons, it kind of is what it is at this point. There were some bright spots this year like the overall defensive play of the team but thereβs no way you can take this system/culture into 6A and expect to compete.Β
