Kason Harrison former BU/Lamar U Guard decommits from LA TECH

A few weeks ago Kason Harrison entered the transfer portal and announced he was transferring to La Tech to team up with PA and La Tech standout Lofton Jr. Late last night Harrison decommitted from La Tech. Alvin brooks has taken over Lamar basketball and former Silsbee great Jordyn Adams has transferred into Lamar. Could Kason have a change of heart about the new look Cardinals or is his eye on a BIGGER PRIZE?

Helluva backcourt Brooks has there with him and Adams.  Going to a stronger conference and should have 2 of the best guards in the league.

It was rumored that Kason wanted to transfer to Silsbee & play with Adams & McCain a few seasons ago in High School.

So there is a connection.

There is a connection because of AAU, not because Kasen wanted to go to Silsbee, those rumors were false.

Actually, Silsbee was trying to convince Kasen to come to Silsbee.  It didn't work out (he declined) and he stayed put at BU.

Lamar also picked up Brian Gordon Guard out of Shadow Creek HS, scrappy guard good pick ups for Brooks

Look, even Silsbee misses on a recruit every now and then...

Back to topic - Brooks doing work on the recruiting trail.  Gordon definitely a solid pick up.  More coming.

I doubt if the coaches were in on said incident.  These young people network via twitter & etc. from here to New York, to California. It may have been just a rumor.  I heard of it from here.  And if they were involved they were just doing their due diligence.  Cause just about everybody is recruiting in some way, shape or form.  Championships are being won with shaky methods.  Coaches are pulling in fat six figure contracts, while math & science teachers make much less.

I read a tweet where a single mother in Silsbee was proud of her daughter playing in the state tournament.  Pic of the daughter shows her wearing an HJ uniform.  Maybe they moved to Sour Lake.  Ion know.  I have my doubts.  It could all be legit.  But hey, schools like Canyon been pulling this scheme off for decades.  I heard about them 20 years ago.  My niece is about to go to grad school & she heard about it in high school.   The UIL is bound to know since everyone else does.  Perhaps they're too busy getting pats on the back & receiving hundred dollar hand shakes to care.
