Guest WeedBegone Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 If the fans could actuallly get into the game... more so than this past week, it would encourage the cheerleaders to be more spirited. Usually the crowd just sits there and the football team notices it as well. Support from the audience really fires everyone up. So please show you're pride in our boys and all the hardwork they do..Your comments are well taken. I am sending you a message from this forum. Please check on "MY Messages"Go Bruins and keep it up.
BruinPride08 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Thought I'd pass this along to everyone...Channelview's stadium is smaller than Durley Stadium. I don't know how much smaller, but it is definately shorter. This will make it all the easier to overflow the visitor's section of the stadium. The field of red and blue will look very impressive all compressed into such a little area! ;D
82 5A State Champs Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 just to add to your post......WB's Durley stadium will hold 10000 at capacity. Check out pay-per view's stadium. They need to be 4A http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=475

Guest WBFan09 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 CVs entire stadium is as big as our home sideBand and Stars will take up half of it im sure we can manage filling up the other half
BearWolf Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 the capacity in 2004 was 4500. Don't know if they have had expansions since
82 5A State Champs Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 the date on the picture is 6-17-2005....I'd say prolly not!
BruinPride08 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 We talked about at band practice today about how we're going to fit in there. There's 160 of us and I think 60 or so Stars. This should make this an interesting game for the Bruins. Maybe we should invite them to Beaumont out of the kindness of our hearts... ;D

BruinPride08 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 This is going to be just like the Memorial game when we outnumbered them at least 5 to 1. 8) Can't wait for Friday night! Go Bruins! P.S. As far as I know, they still haven't said anything at school about this game being a "Red and Blue Out" Game.
82 5A State Champs Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 haha...anyone heard if Christine Michaels will be playing? just a question im sure we can put our slowest guy out there and still kick some television buttChristine should be playing......it was only a minor injury of a bruised knee. Guest WBFan09 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 well without a bye week before playoffs you never know...it does look like teams have had their will with the running game against CV so its a hard call for the coaches

BMTSoulja1 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Those colors might make me get a rash! :o
Guest WeedBegone Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 finally, we might have a chance 82, Weed, WBbear...get readyNaah--he is welcome as he is. Those are Beaumonts colors also. I remember seeing several Central games throughout the years. Lordy how I miss Mcelroy when he was there. Best running back I have seen. I hated it when WB and Central played at the end of the season. Two great teams getting so high for that big game and it almost looked like their first play-off games were a let down. I thought it was a major scheduling error. Man that week of hype was something I have never seen before. Two teams ready to kill each other --then at the end--cousins congratulating each other, friends amoung enemies, church buddies, --a great community event. Central was a 5A power house to reckon with. Let the maroon and silver in--heck, we should buy his ticket. He's one of us. Come on in.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Those were the days. Remember when the Beaumont Bowl used to start off with that guy parachuting in the stadum from that plane. Thoses games used to start at 1 on saturday. Kids rolling down the hill. Those were the days.
