Did these to have a 7/7 match up? If so anyone know how they did?

Yes, there were 6 or so teams and Newton finished second. Newton won there game with Jasper. Glad to see our young QB getting some experience. Coach said he could really throw the ball for a little fellow.

How did the Newton/Woodville matchup go?

Don’t know who all the teams were. You seem to be worried about the upcoming matchup with newton. You better start worrying about E Chambers ,they have owned woodville.

I’m actually looking forward to both those games as well as a couple others. Was just wondering if you might have info on how that matchup went. Ion want no schmoke 😂

Newton’s running back (Gaston) signs letter of intent with USC. He will be a senior next year. Barlow (TCU) is transferring to USC also.

Gatson not signed yet, signing day not even here, he's committed to USC.

You are right, should have said he intends to sign with USC. I wonder if Barlow (TCU) transferring there had anything to do with his decision.  Gaston is a man among boys, when he gets to college he will be a man among men. He has the potential to be great.

I may be wrong but in the last 5 years Woodville is 3 wins and 2 losses against East Chambers.

I really think it did. I thought the kid would end up being an Iowa State commit. Still lots of time between now and signing day, wherever he goes they'll get a very good RB.

I wish. We’ve only beat EC once the last 10 times we’ve met. Hopefully we can say twice after this year

Good luck to the Woodville eagles in 2021/2022.  I haven’t seen the DC magazine yet, just wondering how they projected your district to turn out.

2016 17 and 18 we were District Champs East chambers must not have been in our District. So I may be wrong.
