Hagar
These batteries go in our iPhones, iPads, Laptops, computers and the electric cars. The disastrous results of Cibal mining in Africa is a disgrace. Men and boys are dying by the hundreds, and the environmental results are terrible. If/when we’re forced to all have electric cars, these current figures will be multiplied many times over. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up And I’ve still yet to see what will happen to these millions of car batteries when they’re wore out. To expensive to recycle, so to clean our air, we’re going to destroy our groundwater. We all know they’ll end up getting dumped along roads, in ponds & rivers and the ocean. To think otherwise is being naive.

Hagar
Once again, firefighters struggle with electric car fires. This one had 8 firefighters fighting it for 7 hours & used 28,000 gallons of water. By comparison, the average gas car takes about 300 gallons of water to extinguish. Then the article mentions the harm to the environment from all the future used batteries. From the article, We’re trading one problem for another. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Can you imagine the backed up traffic if car fires tie up traffic for 6-7 hours? Holy Moly. Seems our country is filled with idealistic people. They pick their subject/agenda and present to the world ‘a caring person’. But - But, their caring only goes so far. Take the slave labor in China. Those caring folks should be up in arms. Same with the Africa mining. But - But, live without our Nikes, without our cell phones? No way. Seems their caring only goes so far. So is it caring or only political correctness, virtue signaling or avoiding the cancel culture? Maybe the true answer is that this is all smoke and mirrors that the ruling elite has discovered works best on the electorate...
