The new era of US soccer started last night with the US defeating Mexico 3-2 in the CONCACAF Nations Final.  For the last couple of years Mexico has been taking us to the woodshed, but last night wasn't a fluke.  With all the young talent we have right now the US should be more than competitive with Mexico for the next 10 years.

Last night they followed it up with a 4-0 drubbing of Costa Rica, a team that has traditionally played us tough.  This team is definitely trending in the right direction.
