Well scratch what I said yesterday, I was just told Buckner took the job last night. So now they have 4 coaches

Then came Neece, due to internal problems he came over to newton and said he was not going anywhere else but Anahuac put enough money on the table and he left. He had Anahuac in the playoff last year.

Didn’t Kirbyville run Neece off? I thought he went back to Newton and was the OC for the state championship and then Anahuac offered the job?

No, he left because of the administration. There are still problems with parents and adm. getting involved with how the coaches run things .

They'll beat High Island and maybe Sabine Pass. Won't beat the rest.

Warren has been a stepping stone as far back as I can remember 

 tarver did very well at h-f as well as BC

he didn’t mingle with parents either...very old school.....

As being AD at Hf he taught a class called math and money...taught kids how to budget and manage money(a class that should be required)

he only taught it when they had no one to fill the spot for that year.

Good Coach - Edgar Payne at Vidor in 63 & 64, before retiring.

In 62 Vidor went 0-10.  Payne took over and in 63 went 6-4.  Then in 64 the Pirates were undefeated tying San Marcos in the State Semi-Final.  SM advanced on penetrations.

Your right in the 50, 60, 70's BH was really good. But in the 90's they were very average. Then Price went 34-3 from 99-2002. That is a program changer.

EC hadnt made the playoffs in 13 years before Evans got there.

Diboll was 0-10 the year before Vanover was hired.

Matthews has done a great job at Vidor.

Therwanger at Lovelady (Might not be SE texas enough)

Terry Pool and David Westfall did a Miracle at WH

I wonder what their head to head record was. I know Warren beat the Dale last year. But I think that was the first time they did that in a while.

Can somebody around Evadale explain to us how the new coach and staff are doing / being received by the kiddos?  I know Jay is fired up about the opportunity to lead the Rebels, but what is the community's take and how are the kids responding?  Good numbers showing up to camp/ work outs, etc?
