Since football season is inching closer and we're kinda in a dead period til August when two-a-days start. Which non-district team are you excited for your team to play this season and why? 

I'll go first. For me, I'm excited for the Pirates to play Silsbee to start the season since hurricane Laura ruined those plans last season. Last time Vidor played the Tigers was in 2004, 17 years ago when the Pirates won 28-27. If this game is anything like years past, it's gonna be a great game and good measuring stick going forward into the season.

Cameron Yoe for us. I know they will be better than last season and always put a good product on the field. Another team is Stafford. They are a dark horse team to me. Didn’t lose a lot… always very athletic.

Had the pleasure of playing the Bears in 82 and 83.  1-1 and in the 2nd game, when McZeal scored the 1st touchdown, the lights went out at the stadium.....

I'm looking forward to seeing how Lumberotn hangs with East Chambers. They are a very good team and maybe we can see how well our new coach is going to handle the competition around here.

WOS & Silsbee are both redemption games from the 19’ season for Nederland. Curious to see how we handle them this go around. Didn’t fare so well in 2019.

This is true. Probably not as good as last year, but a decent 3A nonetheless. Solid QB I believe

Jasper at PNG, I love playing football against teams that are going all out, all the time. Those Jasper boys play hard. Always a great game to watch.

It could be. We seem to be having some serious competition at quarterback. A couple guys have already transferred to other schools.

I thought y'all had two transfer in...... I have a pretty good idea who most folks around there want at QB1 but I'll keep that underwraps.
