Hopefully that is not all the kids Crosby is suiting up on Varsity. Only 36 ?  And I know some of those were the JV players.  No way we can play all season with our two best receivers playing both ways. They had little production on offense to speak of. Also, the QB can’t drop half the snaps.  He doesn’t have time to look down field because he’s picking up the ball.

I'm listening. The defense played very well considering five turnovers what do you mean?

What I mean is Carthage is bad to the bone and should make a decent playoff run, but Daingerfield '83 good......no.

This is what usually happens when you go up against an Elite coach!

Both coaches were coaching to win the game. Surratt was going for it on 4th down from his own 35 yardline and instead of taking the three at the end of the first half Prieto went for it on 4th and we had an open drop. There’s always going to be the question what happens if we take the FG now but the fact still remains of the Crosby receiver makes the routine play we’re probably having a different discussion

You give up a freaking kickoff return for a td at the end of the game. If the Crosby kickoff guys stay in their lanes we’re probably having a different discussion. Our qb just flat out missed, as in didn’t even see, guys behind the Carthage coverage twice. That’s not coaching.

Maybe you can say Carthage double-teaming Casey which slowed him down, and us deciding to continue to single cover Hatten which allowed him to carry Carthage was a coaching, but again if the dbs get their heads around we probably get s couple more picks and are having a different discussion.

Crosby’s defense outplayed Carthage’s, Carthage’s offense outplayed Crosby’s, and Carthage made one special teams play Crosby didn’t. Crosby lost the game in the third phase but all three count on the scoreboard. You take your L and try to improve. I will say it’s not disappointing to see where we’re were tonight and know we still have vast room for improvement.

You do realize that it was a jv online and 3rd string back right?

Well answer this. What coach keeps an injured qb in for a PRESEASON game? Can we say that's not good coaching?

Just be glad the O line was missing 4 starters and starting tailback.
It could have been much worse.

Come on bro. Just be glad Myles was cramping and limping around the whole second half. Carthage MAY have had 50 total rushing yards tonight, kid I saw running it in that Lindale scrimmage wouldn’t have made much of a difference.

Don’t know, I haven’t seen Aledo play this year.
like I have always said, the Dawgs could play with Aledo and most years Aledo would win, but 2008, 2017, 2019 and 2020 my money would have been on the Dawgs.

Aledo would beat the $hit outta Carthage!

Man yall were in a no win situation. If you win,  "we had six starters out".   If you lose "it should have been worse, we had six starters out".  Whatever happened to good game guys, good luck this year.

Go back and read all the talk.
you are right though it was a heck of a ball game. Crosby is a very good football team.

Well low-key I was basing it on last season... To be frank from what I saw then I and now I believe Carthage would of lost by 17 points at the most if they played Aledo and that's giving the Bulldogs credit on what they did tonight

Once again, JV line and 3rd string Rb. Like I said in another post. Their fans should be worried.

LMAO... you mean to tell me the team with all that 5A state champion 4X100 track speed lost to a team missing significant starters! Dudes were on here for two weeks talking about how Crosby would dominate. LOL...
