Maybe Cameron Yoe will cancel with Bellville and Lumberton can make a similar trip over here 🙂

Lol. UIL would definitely get called after that whoopin if that matchup was to happen.

I remember a few years back after several weeks of the L-Train surprising everyone, I jumped on the L-Train in my pick'ems just in time for the train wreck. Not bitter just remembering...LOL....I would take Lumberton after a victory over Columbus over Buna....

Enough said.

Enough said?

Would strength of schedule have a say?

I say, Silsbee would go 2-0 if they played Columbus and Buna while Lumberton would go 0-2 if they played Vidor and Jasper.

But, I understand the silly talk. Carry on.

Merely a reflection of a curse, no offense to Buna or Silsbee.  Unique that we have our own Black Water Hattie.  😂😂

Perception is reality.  The kids and fans (parents specifically) can’t help who’s on the schedule.  Winning is winning.. and it’s rarely taken into account who it’s against.  I’ve always believed that sometimes the best thing that can be done by a coach is to build a schedule that’s conducive to keeping the masses happy.

Some are experts at that, especially when contracts & raises are due. Go 9-1 or even 10-0 then quickly bomb out in the playoffs.

Looks a lot better than going 3-7 to “prepare” and then bombing out in the playoffs.
