aTmfan06 Posted September 1, 2021 Report Posted September 1, 2021 Well looks like Lumberton will be 2-0 Quote
OldBuc77 Posted September 1, 2021 Report Posted September 1, 2021 I remember a few years back after several weeks of the L-Train surprising everyone, I jumped on the L-Train in my pick'ems just in time for the train wreck. Not bitter just remembering...LOL....I would take Lumberton after a victory over Columbus over Buna.... Quote
Hagar Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 Raiders could start 2-0, while Silsbee could start 0-2. Enough said. Tiger33 and RETIREDFAN1 1 1 Quote

Would strength of schedule have a say? I say, Silsbee would go 2-0 if they played Columbus and Buna while Lumberton would go 0-2 if they played Vidor and Jasper. But, I understand the silly talk. Carry on. Tiger33 1 Quote

Merely a reflection of a curse, no offense to Buna or Silsbee. Unique that we have our own Black Water Hattie. 😂😂 Quote

Hagar Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 Back to football, in all honesty, I’m not convinced Jasper wins, but I do think Ltown beats Buna. Quote

The kids and fans (parents specifically) can’t help who’s on the schedule. Winning is winning.. and it’s rarely taken into account who it’s against. I’ve always believed that sometimes the best thing that can be done by a coach is to build a schedule that’s conducive to keeping the masses happy. Quote

Some are experts at that, especially when contracts & raises are due. Go 9-1 or even 10-0 then quickly bomb out in the playoffs. Quote
