Just a note on that drive Casey had 5 tackles from the DT position.

Running into kicker Manvel may be going for it now.

He missed his receiver but was much closer.

Kirkwood took it 35 for a first on screen. Just breaking peoples tackles.

nickels and dimes but the clock is hurting us.

dropped pass by Womack. Beautiful pass.

50/50 ball in endzone. Manvel comes down with it.

Two previous plays tho are killer. 

got flushed out of pocket and couldn't get the ball to open Womack play before. 

Next play Womack mistimes a jump and drops the ball. 

Next Play looked like Kirkwood was coming down with it and CB ripped out of his hands.

Good game Manvel. 35-21 Final. Defense gave up 28 offensive points to a team that just dropped 42 on Dickinson.

I'm actually don't feel bad about this loss. Last year's team lost worse than this with Dunn and Branch. Coogs drop to 0-2 but I'll take that against Manvel and Carthage.

No reason for Crosby not to be 2-0 right now. We have to get what’s there WHEN it’s there. Good thing is we played better than last week. Again though, we lose a very winnable game.

Agreed. Fine tuning. Mostly receivers and QB getting on the same page.

To me, it was a closer game than the score shows.  Crosby did a pretty good job

Personally think fatigue is part of it, but they will be fine come district time.  Got to stay healthy though!

I think the ”unmade play” by Womack at the end of the game which would’ve made it 35-28 and gave us a chance at the onside was pure fatigue. He had another one on earlier on that drive he usually makes too. Very hard to ask anything more of him or Kirwood either considering the level they were playing at tonight. 
 

One thing we were talking about in my section was how much attention they had to give Casey to slow him down even with the caliber linemen Manvel has. Kid is absolute truth.

against Carthage 40 had his way the entire game.  An athlete playing on the D-line.

Dang, sounds like a better game than the score reflects. Crosby has lots of potential, just needs to work on the Passing Game some more ( a LOT more ).
