prepballfan Posted September 5, 2021 Report Posted September 5, 2021 No idea. Will look at Tomball the next day or two. Quote
Cougar14.2 Posted September 5, 2021 Report Posted September 5, 2021 This will be an impressive win for PNG if they can pull this one off. Tomball probably won’t finish any higher than 4th in their district but they’re a decent D2-6A and are 2-0 averaging 46ppg. They’re coming off a shutout and only giving up 13.5ppg defensively. Not very good competition they’ve racked up those statistics against but it would still be an excellent win for PNG nonetheless. If I was a PNG fan I would gauge where my defense is more based on this game than the previous two. Rez and prepballfan 2 Quote
NDNWarrior Posted September 5, 2021 Report Posted September 5, 2021 PNG,s defense continues to improve. Offense is beginning to gel. Indians for the “W”! Quote
Justafan72 Posted September 5, 2021 Report Posted September 5, 2021 A Kevin Flanigan team only giving up 13+ points a game, WOW ! He will put points on the scoreboard so I'll pick Tomball 30 - 21. Quote
Reagan Posted September 5, 2021 Report Posted September 5, 2021 PN-G struggled against a poorly coached United team. So, this should be a better test of their worth! Quote
prepballfan Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 The Indians offense is going top be just fine. They literally have a few bugs to work out. They have the weapons in place with a good offensive line and one of Faircloths better RBs in his time here. Rez and BMTSoulja1 2 Quote
png9mon Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 Defense for PNG will need to play at their best Friday night against this Tomball offense. Defense will be key for both teams in this game. Quote
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 LONG TIME NO SEE! All is well on the banks of the Brazos here in Ft. Bend County. Just saying... If this game is in the new Tomball ISD stadium, it looks AMAZING! Off the Grand Parkway just west of HWY 249. Hoping you have an EZ Tag to get to the stadium easily. Also hoping to hear some echoes of Cherokee in Ft Bend County on Saturday evening. GOOD LUCK TO THE INDIANS! #alwaysbefaithful #downthetrailsofvictory prepballfan 1 Quote
Kegger Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 Tomball's Oline is big and plays nasty. The QB is extremely athletic. They will go 4 wide just to run everyone off and then the qb will run. Defense isn't special. Special teams will onside at least 2 times and they will run a fake punt a couple of times. If PNG isn't careful on special teams, Tomball will steal 2-4 extra possessions. They have won multiple games over the past 2 seasons because of this. I personally don't have a dog in this fight. But Id be willing to bet Tomball will win this game by more than the talent disparity between the 2 teams. Rez 1 Quote

The difference in the game last year was Tomball got an extra possession on a fumbled kick off. PNG looked like they had the game under control early, but Tomball was sneaky. Quote
aki1994 Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 Tomball 24 PNG 17 Our offense just isnt where it needs to be yet. Quote
KF89 Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 #26 for PNG looked very quick & strong the few carries he got vs. United prepballfan 1 Quote
Hagar Posted September 7, 2021 Report Posted September 7, 2021 Pulling for PNG, but my money would be in Tomball. Quote
chief1987 Posted September 8, 2021 Report Posted September 8, 2021 Hoping the defense holds up in this one. Need the offense to make significant strides. Quote
