All y'all gotta do is pick up the phone and call 1-800-State-Champs and Carthage will answer.

It's my understanding that Thompson has contacted Surratt about playing and he said no.

I see no issue with Carthage turning down WO-S. Coach has got to do what's best. I think Carthage actually needs this week off and will look for a game Week 4.

Good to know, didn't think nether of these teams would turn down a chance to play. Does Carthage have a lot of players hurt?

A few I believe. Also, according to folks in the know (Matt Stepp) the logistics (more local) of Carthage finding a game next week are much better than this week.

Bryan Rudder played El Paso Americas not sure which school had to travel but even meeting halfway is still a pretty good haul for both schools.

Both teams had to travel, as that game was played at Kerrville Tivy.

just me talking   mustangs  needs the practice they have not looked all that good in both of there games. lc-m had a running back that ran 174 yards  that's not like a mustangs defense and Nederland kid playing lights out defense this is why they need practice.

If we get smithville, would Htown be a good halfway point?

Smithville would be a logical team to play. Houston would be a meeting point. But smithville probably wouldnt give WOS much of a Test. I would think #6 Childress would be a better opponent but that’s a far drive to play a football game. Pilot point would be a little closer. But who knows if the these teams would even want to travel the way Covid is in the uprising.
