KFDM COOP Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 PN-G won the flip and will play at home on Friday the 16th at 7:30.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 ANOTHER GAME AT THE RESERVATION!!!!If Dayton plays on Saturday, I am there!!!Will be a long long night for Galena Park.
akifan94 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 ANOTHER GAME AT THE RESERVATION!!!!If Dayton plays on Saturday, I am there!!!Will be a long long night for Galena Park.WOW.....now that was not too smart to flip home and home.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Well, last time Galena Park played in the triangle in a playoff game, they got walloped all the way back down I-10 when Ozen put it on them. This wont' be an exception. Especially since playing at the Rez has always been tough.
lamarsports Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 WOW.....now that was not too smart to flip home and home.i disagree.there isnt a neutral site so i wouldve done the same.
KFDM COOP Posted November 5, 2007 Author Report Posted November 5, 2007 Congrats PN-G!! Playoffs at home. Can't beat that!! Good luck Indians!
Guest Indian Chief Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
akifan94 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 i disagree.there isnt a neutral site so i wouldve done the same.I see your point, but I would have thought there could have been some sort of neutral site they could have found. I could understand going home and home if your visitors side held around 2500 people or so and you wanted to try to eliminate the PN-G crowd. But, from what I understood Galena Park plays in a nice, big stadium.
Krewsky Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Woo Hoo! Â A game @ home! Â Another thing that surprises me is when are they going to start on the renovations to the Reservation? Â I figured they'd start right after the last home game Friday. Â Anybody know when the renovations start?
BadMedicine Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The Bond election has to pass tomorrow before PNG can begin stadium renovations.
lamarsports Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The Bond election has to pass tomorrow before PNG can begin stadium renovations.the bond passed a long time ago.its pa and bmt trying to pass bonds.as for the renovations, i doubt they planned to start so soon.
Krewsky Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Oh, ok... I thought the bond had already passed since there are drawings of the renovations. Â Any predictions on whether it will be passed or not? Â I hope so!!!Beaumont PN-G fan!
Krewsky Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Well there you go. I THOUGHT it had been passed.
24 over par Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 when does tickets go on sale and where
Guest etbu Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Good luck to the Jackets and the other district twenty one teams.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Good luck to the Jackets and the other district twenty one teams. They sure will need it.That district has won a playoff game in years!Odds are...They will be swept again this year.Galena Park having to play at the Reservation in a Play Off game, that won't be easy.
BadMedicine Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Well there you go. I THOUGHT it had been passed.I guess PNG passed their bond election last spring.
NorthoftheBorder Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Way to go Coach Burnett and the Indians. Â Glad to see a coach bring a playoff game to the triangle instead of giving up home field by automatically going to Houston. Â I bet the crowd will be huge for the game.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Just curious...With so many teams getting into the district, for the 1st round the 4A schools and 5A schools may just have to flip home and home. There might not be any stadiums available to host the game at a neutral site. I know last year Dayton had Crosby at home for a playoff game. You would assume that the Division II teams may also flip home and home. What a night that would be for Lumberton, (if it all worked out).Getting into the playoffs for the first time ever then getting to host the game!
Guest etbu Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 They sure will need it.That district has won a playoff game in years!Odds are...They will be swept again this year.Galena Park having to play at the Reservation in a Play Off game, that won't be easy.Based on last year you are prolly right but don't think they will just lay down without a great effort. Is this the same PNG that was ready to run your Coach out of town? Just trying to support the teams in our district and a big fan of Coach Zepeda from GP. Great man and does alot for the kids in his program.
KFDM COOP Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 You coming in for this one J?
play-ball!! Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I see your point, but I would have thought there could have been some sort of neutral site they could have found. I could understand going home and home if your visitors side held around 2500 people or so and you wanted to try to eliminate the PN-G crowd. But, from what I understood Galena Park plays in a nice, big stadium.my son told me today Coach Burnett talked to the kids today in the athletic period and asked if they wanted a neutral site or flip for a home advantage and they told him they wanted to take the chance to play at the Rez again or go play at GP stadium so the boys made that decision for coach to make the coin flip
NDN X Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Woo Hoo! A game @ home! Another thing that surprises me is when are they going to start on the renovations to the Reservation? I figured they'd start right after the last home game Friday. Anybody know when the renovations start? Freshman and JV play at home this week, so they would have had to wait til after this week anyway, but a playoff game at home is a great thing to add to our "Reservation Memories!!" ;D
