PoppaBearstarr Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Mine is the Jasper Bulldogs they have improved quite a bit from last year my hat goes off to them for their hard work. And of course to the Coaching staff as well.
PoppaBearstarr Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 Lumberton has improved but I think they were close last year they played some pretty salty teams tough last year
PoppaBearstarr Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 Man I forgot about Kountze what was their record last year they have done a great job as well ;D
Land95 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 my Jasper Bulldogs to come from only 2 Dis.win to hopefully geting to the playoff the next year great job
smp83 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Lumberton has improved but I think they were close last year they played some pretty salty teams tough last yearYeah, you're right. We were close in a lot of our games just couldn't pull off the win
TradinUp BH Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Lumberton, there is no comparison this year to their turnaround.
LionHeart Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 4-6. in district lost to warren,E.C,Buna,deweyville. this year they have beat warren, e.c, anahuac and lost to buna 21-14. last year they lost to buna 42 or 48 to nothing. E.C beat them last year 31-14 and this year kountze won 14-13. kountze lost to warren 19-3 last year and beat them this year 15-14. Kountze beat anahuac with just about the same score for two years now. 36-7 around that. Hardin has done great too. Kountze beat them last year 50-28 i believe and the beat kountze 36-22. their passing game is awesome. Coach Haynes has really done real good over in hardin.
the wise one Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 i think that hardin had the biggest turnaround and kountze was close last year as well its just this year they learned to play as a team and play tough for all 4 quarters good luck and im sure this is the first time in school history they will be pulling for hardin (lol)
LionHeart Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 well kountze has always played as a team but just couldnt quite punch it in, but now they can and have. usually Kountze and Hardin dont get along but this year they have....haha
24 over par Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 hardin and kountze congrats to both
stevieray Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Lumberton....if they win and make the playoffs
knightrider Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 since the first 4 games, since then, i'd have to say dayton. much improved team. dominating
raiderpride Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 lumberton and kountze overall, and the best mid-season turnarounds go to dayton and jasper id say
PNG1992 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 man I know its a homer pick but PNG has to be in this conversation. We lost to Nederland and got pasted by LCM, Dayton & Central last season. This year really noone outside of Port Neches or Groves had the Indians in their top 3 in 22-4A coming into the season yet here we sit undefeated in district and playing Friday night for an another outright district crown. The boys have avenged 3 of the above losses in convincing fashion. PNG is a very improved club from last season.
stevieray Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Wasn't PNG picked to finish at the bottom of the district?PNG & Hardin
LionHeart Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 but being picked last is isnt improving. i mean thats my opinion.
aTm_1989 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Hardin, Kountze, & Lumberton. By the way, its amazing what Haynes has done in his first year at Hardin.
PNG1992 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 but being picked last is isnt improving. i mean thats my opinion. correct, but PNG has vastly improved from last season to now. Go watch tape of the LCM (expecially LCM), Dayton, & Central games from last season and it'll tell the story.
OldTimer Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Hands down - Hardin.From 2 - 8 to 8 - 1 is an amazing turnaround.
