It has kind of croaked already. Both teams kind of have a sense of “we’re not sure if we’re good yet,” so I’m guessing that has tamped down the trash talk

No superstars in this one (except Fuselier), but there will be plenty of scrappers.  Will be the first time in many years that I will not be at the game.  Nederland's defense will be the story (and Fuselier).   Dogs by 2 touchdowns.

A Buc 77 must have seen a completely different Dog defense than the one I saw vs Silsbee. They were not very good in that game to say the least

This one is a toss up.  I'm not really sure  how good either of these teams are.  Some glimpses of very good play. At other time they look totally lost.  I'm going with Nederland by 14 simply based on Beck and Fuselier talent.

I haven’t seen many of the games, but I think the defense will improve,  they had a tough night against a potent Silsbee offense.  But the team didn’t throw in the towel and still got the W.  This game is always a barn burner and will probably be a one score game.
