tvc184 Posted September 16, 2021 Report Posted September 16, 2021 We were discussing this when mandate came out several weeks ago for the military. There was a big debate that it was not an approved vaccine yet, they can’t force you to take it and so on. I and other people in the forum brought up the fact that it was soon to be approved, then what. The reason that was brought up because people said they can’t force me to take an unapproved vaccine, I will resist, etc. Yeah but what if…… One person in the forum had a son in the military who was in the military police. His career goal was to go into the military until he was of age to become a civilian police officer. He has now rejected the vaccine and will be given a less than honorable discharge. That ends any chance of him ever being a police officer because anything less than an honorable discharge disqualifies a person. Quote
mat Posted September 16, 2021 Report Posted September 16, 2021 My thoughts are when you join the military you give up a lot of rights and are subject to their rules. Quote

That is absolutely true. It’s still a crappy deal because of a presidential mandate that a person probably loses two careers. Chester86 1 Quote
