You mentioned 9-5aD1 twice so maybe you meant 8-5aD1. I think the New Caney game at College Station is a big game. It will be a good game.

Manvel plays FB Hightower, Hightower will probably finish third and be the first round opponent for the runner-up 9-5A-D1. 
 

Marshall plays Pine Tree in 9-5A-D2, winner is probably the second round opponent for 12-5A-D2 district champion. 

 New Caney vs College Station is a big game. I think CS is one of the four best teams in that region this year along with Lone Star, Ryan and Highland Park.  I think CS is going to be a little too much this time but NC could make a major statement with the upset.

I watched CS on Friday. They have some good looking kids. 
My take is NC can move the ball on them. They also have a well balanced offense if they choose but get a little pass happy.  Playing in CS I think they will take it at home but I do believe it will be a good game.
