Alexander rushed for 199 yards on 30 carries and scored one touchdown to help Memorial keep its playoff hopes alive. Alexander's efforts earned him top honors for player-of-the-week. Honor RollClint Burnett, Port Neches-Groves -- The Indians were not short on standouts in their 42-21 rout over Central on Friday night. Reciever and cornerback Brett Doty scored two touchdowns and defensive end Zeke Schexneider made several big tackles along the way, but Burnett's 10 tackles, two sacks and fumble recovery earned him the top-spot for the Tribe. Head coach Matt Burnett said the entire defense played great and several players deserved the honor. Clint graded out a 91. Hagan Daigle, Hampshire-Fannett -- This running back made huge contributions with just a handful of opportunities. Daigle scored twice on just eight carries and ripped off 131 rushing yards against Bridge City on Friday night. The Longhorns crushed the Cardinals 63-21.Aaron Clark, Sabine Pass — This running back did all the scoring for his team on Friday night. He rushed for 132 yards on eight carries and scored three touchdowns.Joe Robertson, Bridge City -- Robertson has been no stranger to big rushing nights. On Friday night, Robertson rushed for 121 yards on 21 carries and one touchdown.
