So let me get this straight. The QB that started the season (transfer) is no longer on the team and now the starter from two weeks ago who was out with an injury last week is off the team. Correct?

If so, not sure that one player is going to make that much of a difference on a Mustang team.

Unless there is some domino effect with other players being disciplined.

What was the situation that got him removed?

I agree with your comments.but it's alot going on.so hopefully this team can concentrate on football moving forward.ur right one  man doesn't change much.but the distraction they have had over the past few years is concerning.most ppl on here truly don't know alot has been going on the past 3 yrs.

Ladybug33 it's worse than what u think!!! I take u haven't seen the video yet.or the messages then.

I have not read the messages but, I have heard the video. SMH I don't know how these things can happen or the best way to mend fences; except for talking things out. I believe the players will play and this will not be a domino effect.

I'm not on fakebook either. But I've been getting calls and texts about the situation. I still dont know the entire story and what exactly has happened. I'm afraid this will end up like the 96 season. Kids need to stay positive and push forward. That's how it was back then. Yes, we lost some key players that year. But it forced underclassmen to step up and take the lead. 2 years later in 98, we were well on our way to knock off la marque. Except those tigers got in our way on a wet night at TJ.

The other concern for me... how much criticism can one man take before hanging it up? Be careful what u wish for.

Now as for this game, its anybody's guess. Could be a rare district loss for my Stangs. I'm still picking WOS. @Hagarcan count up the pickems. But I like the poll on the top of the page... 41-9. That probably wont be the final score, but it could happen. Someone told me not too long ago, "life comes at you fast." And that could also be a metaphor for our young RBs in the stable. Whoever it is that suits up on Friday night will be Mustangs. Let's go meet em.

Silsbee has played some good teams and has knot been blow out by anyone.! And in the games Silsbee lost Silsbee was up big Silsbee can put scores on the boards and the defense has gotten better every game. I see a Tiger win my self personally.

Everybody need to stop with the comments no one knows what happened the pass three years with this football players but the coaches the video everybody seeing is not telling the whole story there's so more stuff going the the kids is not telling it can be them or the coaches but right now we don't know and we might never know but the negatively that's going on about this don't need to be said point blank let these other players play

    • I have no issue with that however…. Rick Perry, although seemingly not really popular even with Republicans, was almost impossible to beat. The Texas conservatives just needed that tough, real conservative with an already popular voting base. Someone that has been elected to both Texas state office and federal office.  Boom! In 2010 in steps Kay Bailey Hutchison, a popular sitting US Senator and former Texas Treasurer. So she has been elected, statewide in both a state political position and nationally as a senator. A Rasmussen poll in 2009 showed Hutchison with a 40% to 38% lead over Perry. She had high profile endorsements as did Perry. Hutchison was endorsed by the likes of G H W Bush, Nolan Ryan, Roger Staubach, etc. If people are actually going to listen to endorsements, those are some fairly well thought of people in Texas. Primary day was between Perry, Hutchison and Debra Medina. Hutchison was beaten by Perry 51% to 30% and he got enough votes to avoid a runoff. Obviously, that has no bearing on today. It does show that just because a person is very popular and already elected to national office from Texas such as Kay Bailey Hutchison, it does not ensure a good showing in the polls against an incumbent. It will be interesting for sure.
    • WOW what a game. just got home, I'm gonna sleep with a big smile all night. PNG QB passes were spot on tonight, lil #17 freshman receiver had huge catches at critical times in the game. # 44 had a couple of huge catches including the 'jump pass' on 4th down for a touchdown.  #4 made big plays at key times on both sides of the ball, he is a beast. #11 played his usual consistent game with big time catches and a couple of good punts and a good job of just falling on a bobbled kick reception. #27 probably had 125 yards or so rushing. The defensive backs did a good job, bending but not breaking including the interception in the end zone. I thought the TH coaches messed up not trying to score with the high power players they have when they got the fumble right before half with 45 seconds or so on the clock and 3 TO left, if they would have scored then it would have broke our backs. I know it was 90 yards to go but they could cover the field in 3 or 4 plays. This is one of the most exciting wins in PNG's long history of exciting wins. Oh yeah kudos to the fans for getting in to the game at key times and in my Opinion making a big difference. 😂
    • To the 41 individuals that picked TH…..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Round 4 here we come!
