East Chambers/Anahuac..... Could this be for the district title?

Looking forward to this match up. Be my first trip to the new and improved stadium at Anahuac.

I think this could be the year Anahuac wins this game.  In the pick ems i chose EC, but I would not be surprised in AP made a game of this...

EC has looked like the best team in the district so far but I think Anahuac matches up pretty good. I’ll take Anahuac

Anahuac takes this one by 2 touchdowns. EC is solid but I believe Anahuac is the more physical team.

Anahuac has improved and we play in Anahuac. I still think EC takes this one in a close game. I will be out of town but will be tuned in with SETXsports !!!!

If I was a betting man I’d box EC and Huac at 1st and 2nd take Woodville 3 and that’s a guaranteed trifecta winner. I’ll like the other Ville to edge out Buna for the 4th spot. Not sold on the superfecta but I would bet it too.

Number 7 will prove to be a lucky number ; everytime the number is called Anahuac will hit the jackpot. Expect a street fight for 3 quarters; in the 4th quarter, EC will look like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. The Fat Lady will sing and they will turn out the lights. Anahuac had sure touchdowns dialed up a few times that would’ve changed the game. They just didn’t execute. Dropped passes, bad throws, and penalties at key points killed em.

I keep picking the right team on the wrong night. Maybe, I should NEVER pick against EC. EC shows up and plays hard every contest and every sport. Congratulations, to EC. The Panthers will Build Back Better; maybe.
