I just realized I picked Huffman by mistake in my pickem. Picked Lumberton in the prediction thread though. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Lol. Thanks Drummer. I don’t have a problem with the coach. I had a problem with not letting anyone play on both sides of the ball. He had to give that up some, so I guess he finally listened to me. 😂

I also give a lot of credit to some of those sophomores and last year’s underclassmen. They have as much credit as any for turning this around. And my son was a senior last year!

There were 44 Pickums.  Only 5 picked Ltown and 11 picked Vidor.  Neither one gets any respect.  How fitting would it be for the final regular  season game between Ltown & Vidor to be for the District Championship?  It’s a real possibility.  Good luck Raiders.

Lol, Vidor not a long drive for a DC.  But before we get ahead of ourselves, Vidor still has to play Livingston & Huffman while Ltown has to face the Bears (Splendora shouldn’t be a problem).  

Doesn’t hurt to dream a little though.  I’ve been posting how the District has improved, and we’re getting close to parity.  After next Friday we’ll be around the last turn and heading down the stretch.  Even though the Ltown vs Vidor game may not be for the DC, it’ll still be for playoff spots, and I suspect all the Coaches want to avoid Kilgore & Lindale in the first round, two very tough teams.  What an exciting season for fans in 10-4A-D1.

The outcome of this game could go a long way in determining the 2nd or 3rd playoff spot and I agree with you. Position yourself in the 1st or 2nd spot cause you don’t want to mess with Beasts from the East in the first round.
