Hagar Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 If you work for the Canadian Govt you’ll be fired if you use the phrase, Let’s Go Brandon”. How weird is that? Sounds like some folks a lil sensitive. But dude did a rap song about it. Never, ever, thought I’d like a rap song, but I like this one. Btw, it got up to #1 on ITunes Chart. tvc184 Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 I understand that response from the government. Hopefully by now most people know what the saying means or in what seems like the word of the day, the trope. I mean for decorum, you would not want the person saying what it really means. If this is true, the thing that I get out of it is, there must’ve been enough of an issue for them to come out with the order. Were government employees walking around saying, Let’s Go Brandon? If so, that is hilarious. Quote

LumRaiderFan Posted October 20, 2021 Report Posted October 20, 2021 I wonder if they’ll get fired for saying “we hate Trump”? I doubt it, the prime minister is the poster boy for snowflake. baddog 1 Quote
SmashMouth Posted October 20, 2021 Report Posted October 20, 2021 I was just thinking... Let's consider that there may be a kid that plays hockey in Canada...and his name is Brandon. His Dad, a Canadian government worker, yell's to his son as he skates out on the ice, "Let's Go Brandon!" Well, you know the rest of the story. baddog and Sugarbear 2 Quote
