82 5A State Champs Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Let me get this straight, Kirbyville is the District 21 runner-up at 8-1.......they will be playing the District 22 Champion Cleveland at 3-6...........am I missing something here? Doesn't make much sense to me, but OK! ???
stangchain Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I originally questioned the WOS vs. Coldsprings matchup but then remembered that Cleveland may win the district. They are not the big school, so no matter where the big school finishes, THAT's the bracket they go into. Then they match the remaining teams up by finish in each district. What's terrible about that district is their records....it's a shame that somebody really worthy of going to the playoffs in OUR district is having to sit home while D-22 advances.
lsu_fan_07 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 ya and kville played cleveland in the preseason..
kville_extreme Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 actually, we played cleveland for our season opener and goose egg'd them 27-0 with a lot of mistakes on our side. so yeah, how could cleveland win their district?! i had no clue they had lost so much this year?
lsu_fan_07 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 this is correct.. lol goose egg'dem alright
grizzly62 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 yeap and it will happen again ;D ;D ;D
Lefty99 Posted November 8, 2007 Author Report Posted November 8, 2007 Yeah, when I saw this bracket before posting it I thought I was seeing double! Some of these districts with teams having losing records that bad doesn't look good! Though it looks to be panning out they way I posted it. As far as the parings; they are always pared from 17vs18, 18vs19,C vs R, C vs R, etc...
