Being old & senile, I don’t remember - are the numbers made public right after being turned in or for some nefarious reason kept secret until they can figure out how to keep HP in 5A-D1?

Probably won't happen but there's a chance you could have two of the top ten teams in 5A-D2 move down to 4A-D1 in Fort Bend Marshall and South Oak Cliff.

Could be a chance Vidor moves the opposite way and goes back up along with Lumberton since we were both very close to the cutoff last time. I think we got a lot of Louisiana refugees moving in from the Hurricanes over there but we’ll see, I’m sure the cutoff number will increase again. I hope they keep us right here for a little while, we’re just getting settled in and comfortable.

Seems like I saw preliminary 2020 general census numbers around 1000 residents less than 2010.  I know city numbers don't necessarily relate to high school enrollment but still........

I heard of Lumberton numbers going up, but not Vidor. They got neighborhoods going up in Vidor?

Only one that I know of and only a couple of houses or so in it so far.  Harvey and Imelda caused a lot of the population drop.

it's more likely then you would think FBISD is aggressively disenrolling students who don't show up to school and or haven't been seen since online learning. 

Simultaneously, there are calls weekly in the district about historic levels of presumed truancy.

Its amazing a former 3 high school city is potentially dropping to have just one D-II 5A school. Crazy.
