Someone said the other day that Vidor ran the West Coast offense.  At my son's middle school game, that was far from it! I don't think I saw one single pass from the Pirates!

I think you may be referring to when Vidor ran pistol formation last year. We went back to the Slot T this season.

I’m guessing #99 (Jordan Smith) is one of the most dominant defensive linemen I’ve ever seen, if not the most.  Kid gets doubled or tripled every play.

One of the most dominate in the area and still doesn't get the interest from colleges like he should. One thing I'll never understand.

They were pulling your chain Gronk. Vidor has been running Slot T so long noone remembers what they used to run. In fact I'm pretty sure when the pass was invented the Vidor coach said it was just a fad and wouldn't last.🤪

They were yanking your chain.  Still running the Slot T.

I remember when Sparky Robinson made All State in 64.  I heard he had to ask Lamar for a scholarship.  Lamar said sure, just didn’t think you’d be interested in coming here.  Vidor players really don’t get respect.  LB Bo Brown in the 80’s.  Played at Lamar as a walk-on.  Started at MLB.  Was finally given a scholarship.  Bull poopy.
