No not this season. Chapel Hills' HC was formerly the HC at Crosby so  he has seen it before.

Crosby always has a tough time with Vidor.  Hope he hasn’t improved.

Sadly I won't be able to make it to the game tonight either, had a family emergency with my mom. So, I'll try to update via Texan Live tonight.

Sorry to hear that pv.  Hope your mom’s okay….

Vidor’s 2-2 against Crosby, so he was lucky. 😄

He was lucky lol, he has 2 wins but I believe I recall a triple overtime game and another close matchup.

Yes the triple OT game was regular season game at home. Vidor and Crosby both won on the road in regular season and split the bi-district playoff games

I’ll be damned if the son of a gun didn’t pull it out again… Coach Mathews fell ill and our other coaches had a brain fart. But seriously Vidor fell into a bad habit of starting out flat in the first half and relying on a second half comeback. I know our offensive style is designed for late game effectiveness but you keep putting yourself in the hole and your not always going to dig yourself out of it. This time we dug our own grave early in the game and buried ourselves at the end. Now it’s all over but the crying, I still think if game day pants had been there we would have found a way to win. Good thing we have a world class dominating basketball program in Vidor to root for now. 🏀

Out of likes, but I got a chuckle out of this (amazing, since my give a 💩 is in a deep hole).  Yes, on to dominating the Dist in basketball.  😂😂🤣👽😂.

It was obvious that all Vidor had to do on their last possession was keep running the ball, they had the defense on the ropes. The coaches went into a state of panic when they started throwing the ball every play, and play action at that. By the time the QB rolls out all the receivers are covered. The play action waste time and the element of surprise in this situation. Vidor could've also played the first half but they didn't.

It worked all season, it was our blueprint, the game plan, our identity and they went away from it in the most urgent time of need. Like someone else said earlier, they really let the defense off the hook with that play calling.
