I remember when he originally died.  Was tough in not only Sour Lake, but all around the music and band scene in SETX.  I love that the student was able to honor Mr. Westbrook.

Wasn’t he the first known Covid death in this area?

It seems like I remember thinking, oh my gosh we’ve actually had a Covid death, I hope there are not many more.

May have been, he was the first person I knew personally that died from Covid.

Sadly there were more to follow that I knew, like many of us have experienced.

This guy was an all around good dude.  I went to college with him, we were both in the Lamar band.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to help you. Such a shame he was taken so early in life.
